Somerset Park is probably the worst stadium I've ever seen in my life.
It's on par with an amateur team stadium.

Ibrox / Parkhead for UK, Ibrox being best.
Red Star's stadium for abroad, what a stadium and atmosphere that is / Shukpi for away ground, that was a genuine dive.

Junior clubs even back then were better.

Leipzig was a great stadium as was Bilbao.
Worst European away was Marakana in Belgrade and Brondby.
Hampden is awful and my least favourite along with their place.
Ibrox will always be my favourite but certainly not the best in terms of facilities or access. Wouldn't swap it for a second though.

I loved both Leeds away and Dortmund away, fantastic atmosphere at both. Worst has to be Parkhead, not just because it's Celtic, it is actually just a dump, and Hampden. For a national stadium it really lets us down.

Hampden is the worst stadium in terms of Relativity for sure. Of course we've played in worse, but Hampden is an absolute dump, waste of money and needs demolished. Football and music are both a disaster, god only knows who thought it a good idea to keep the track and come up with that roof.

I went to some horrific ground in the lower leagues. Away to Alloa is one I always remember.

Alloa had that mad cow when behind the goal with no tiers so if you're smaller like me, you had no chance of seeing and aching calves after 90 mins.
Stranraer was a belter, as was Montrose.
A tiny grandstand and a small rope around the pitch perimeter.
Anyone remember the red paint issue at Forthbank? And we lost 1-0 when their manager was away getting married!

I remember in the early 80s going up to play Inverness Caley in a Scottish Cup tie before Caley were in the Scottish leagues. ? That was probably my worst stadium. We beat them 6-1, and I remember Ian Redford scoring, God rest him. ?

Ibrox best, especially in the seventies when you update walk through the free enclosure at half time (except against Celtic).
Worst for me was Central Park, Cowdenbeath, what a horrible stadium.

A proper old school ground, the chip shop outside was called Etons, absolutely fantastic chippy. A wee sweet shop and a Baptist church around the corner at the bottom of Heriot Crescent.
Memories of a kid being at that ground. 1986 Skol Cup, won on penalties! What a blast from the past. I was 10. Got the next day off school as we never got in till past midnight.

De Kuip was brilliant, which is Feyenoord Stadium.
I love away trips to Tynecastle and Easter Road for the atmosphere.
Nothing will ever beat Ibrox though.
Worst stadium, Braga, was like a prison. ?

Wondered when Central Park would get a mention, definitely there and it's my home ground!
Ibrox, of course, will always be number 1, but I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Tynecastle. Took a few guys who are wheelchair users there a few years back, and the facilities there were fab.
