I just send a video of Rohl going over to talk to Union bears last night after the game what the he'll is that all about? These people don't represent Rangers fans they cost our club money time and time again and can't behave either can't believe I saw that

It is quite believable a Rangers manager went over and talked to Rangers fans after last home game of the season. Actually, says a lot about the guy that he would do that after recent results and the result last night, not a lot of coaches would. I'm no fan of UBs, but ultimately they are paying fans that turn up every week.

Hopefully it was to say cheerio. I have zero faith in Dr. You were right, Strom. Had my doubts but got carried away. I now have all summer with my wife, daughter and half the family ribbing me if they steal this title. Horrible times.

Storm, they are the most vocal and how they act at the stadium influences a lot when it comes to the reception that the manager and players get. I don't agree, but managers the world over go to their ultras in the same way.
If it was like normal, every other fan would have had left anyway, wouldn't they. ?

Ooft, the new Angus. ???

14 May 2026 22:32:16
I don't particularly like them, but they are a strong voice. I think he was just trying to show respect for a section of the fans. No big deal.

Say what you will about the UB, but they keep Ibrox alive. Without them these days the place would be a morgue! Haven't been to Ibrox as much since having kids, but every year I go at least a few times. Took my daughter for the first time this year. The vibe was negative, and some of the shouts are pathetic.

14 May 2026 23:37:06
Kasier, he shouldn't be showing them respect when they don't show the club respect with their antics.

It does happen elsewhere, Angus, but never in Scotland, and I don't like it at that. That's my honest opinion. They are silly we boys that cause trouble.
It's 100% not for me.

15 May 2026 00:51:27
Anyone heard what he said to the UB's?

15 May 2026 02:53:12
Aye cheerio I hope.

15 May 2026 06:08:36
Totally get u, Storm. I don't think for him it was shout UB but could have been any group to try and show respect and hear them out. Contrast that with Martin who just went down the tunnel and refused to acknowledge the fans when things got hard.

15 May 2026 07:43:32
Storm, not saying I like it but just trying to find an explanation for why he would do it.
I also just don't get they provide the atmosphere; My take is that no-one else bothers because of their constant droning on.

So, if they weren't there, others would sing. Have a singing section, do something rather than just encourage a group of kids dressed in black organised by grown men with agendas.

Clement went to them, pretty sure Ferguson did when in temporary charge.
People don't like "ultras" for a reason.
But, I bet players and managers all over Europe hold them in high regard for the constant support through win, lose, or draw.
This thread is another excuse for some to bash a manager they want rid of.

15 May 2026 09:06:44
That is exactly what it is, MPH, bash the manager again.
Think it's more than a problem with managers, something went wrong after the split.

15 May 2026 11:18:06
To me it's simple, we aren't good enough against the top 5 clubs and add to that they know they are on their last 5 games before getting told to do one or being sold.

The exact same happened the year Walter Smith handed in his resignation and the players then knew they were going at the end of the season.

Even worse, we lost the league that would have got us a historic 10 in a row.

Having too many loan players and ones out of contract is difficult to replace all at one time. Hope we get them in quickly and get a good preseason under our belt.

Some pay absolute fortunes to follow their club wherever they go, all over Scotland and Europe, many use most of their wages following Rangers, some work all week to pay for the privilege of being at Ibrox every single game, or flying all over the world.

Some are very decent supporters.
