Is Raskin's absence down to as John said, a possible sale in the offing, or is he not playing the last 2 games to assure he's fit for the WC, as some have said of Souttar.
For me Rohl gets preseason, turfs out some disappointing players, some have not been performing to any sort of level, blame lies with a bit of both for me, players letting themselves down and Rohl himself not kicking enough backsides, but then has he been limited by his personnel, time will tell, if he's still here.

I think the Raskin thing is to do with the possible sale tbh Fork as no other reason he should be left out and no chance he is left out for the WC as not even sure he'll go, plus would need to be match sharp if he is.
Disappointing players, now that's being kind. Watching their first goal was a joke. How many players were just jogging back? Should be busting a gut to get back. They are just lazy, ego inflated complete wastes of a jersey!

I agree bbj. ? We were all saying the same at Ibrox last night, mate. ? A lot of gutless players out there, and heavily reliant on our superb young loanee from Spurs, Mikey Moore. ? Yet again, easily our best player and it's all placed on this young 18 year old to do it for us. ? He is the one who's so direct, always prepared to take the game to the opposition and can carry the ball big distances, getting us up the park. ? He also has terrific work ethic and gives absolutely everything.
? I'm absolutely going to miss Mikey Moore, but will always watch with much interest in his career going forward, and he's going to have a big career in football imo. ? I also thank Moore from the bottom of my heart for his efforts in the royal blue jersey of Glasgow Rangers, and he'll always be welcome back at Ibrox. ? Go smash it out the park, young man, and all the very best of luck. ? ?? I wish somehow he could be our player. ? ??

Spot on with that sentiment, Coops, and I'm sorry that the young lad couldn't get a winner's medal while with us.
Was embarrassing watching a young loan 18 year old show more effort and will to win than the rest of the team combined.
He will 100% have a great career of that there is no doubt.

I think we get rid of Rohl and every player we have and start again from scratch. AC has decided to even go with a different approach: we aren't going to have a manager or coach until we win trophies again. Until then, he has seen how fans always know the manager picks the wrong team, and makes the wrong subs.
So he has decided to go with a monthly draw where fans get a month of being coach. That way, we will, he thinks, always have the right team on the park and be making the right subs. Even if we were to lose a game, it couldn't be claimed that wasn't the case. ???

A lot of players who know their time is up, no desire, no guts. Feel sorry for Rohl, and during his presser, you could tell he is pissed off with many of them. If it's true what he said about Tav, that's really poor show from him.
Clear out yet again. Really disappointing result. Can't even hold out for a draw, which would have been bad enough.

You know how we all want instantaneous success, Angus. We don't do structured building and a sensible approach, it's not our way, we insist on replacing every manager recently. Strange how it never seems to work. Maybe give someone time, how about 3 years, that some got, that got a gd prize, but it wasn't enough.

Souttar has inflammation in his knee.
Both have offered to play.

Bbj, cheers. I see similarities now to the last takeover. Souness finished 3rd behind Celtic and Hearts in his second season. There was a lot of frustration then after winning the league year before and new expectation after the takeover. Same novice type of manager, in fact Souness was only 32 with no experience. He at least had spent a lot on his own international class players so had the base of a good squad. So we know how that worked out with hindsight.
So sometimes you need to go backward to go forward and I of one don't want to just throw away everything which manager and new players have learnt over this season. Yes, the end was beyond poor but at times before that I think a lot were hopeful of what was to come.
I still see that and want him to get more time and more players to fill the areas we are obviously lacking in. That will give more cover for injuries and allow him to drop players who aren't following instructions. Time will tell, but I am not going to sack the manager even after 4 defeats in a row; but I always thought winning the league was beyond us this year although I was pleasantly surprised when we got back into the mix before the split. Those games were just too far beyond what is a limited squad.
Or we can continue down our slippery slope of reducing quality year on year. I'd rather build from what we have now.

At no time have I said Raskin is not playing due to a sale. He allegedly has a muscle injury as stated by Rohl, same as Tav and Naderi.
Yes, Raskin wants to move, but that's not why he is not playing.

No one said u did, John. I said is it a possibility due to a possible sale, then also said he may want to assure he's fit for WC, similar to what other posters have said about Souttar, of which I wasn't one, but it's immaterial as Ehl cleared it up.
