MON has a the worst tim team in a while not his players but he's got them believing. Maybe DR does need his own players however he hasn't got the players hd currenly has beleiving and that is a major issue he can't install self belief in the players buying his own won't change that

We have players that want to play a style to do well in Europe, but aren't good enough to do well in Europe. The Scottish game is different. Guys like Mon and Big Ange know that all you need is players that are a little bit better but can run and run and run. Fed up watching us faff about at the back showing no appetite or desire to score. I don't know why this is the case in recent games. We showed, especially v Hearts at Ibrox and in other games, that we can match the effort.
On here, fans have said they don't want the 'hoof it up the park' football. But it wins games in our league. Even our 9iar team knew we had to win the battle to have the right to play. Not sure, but looking at the attitude of players these few games, did something happen in La Manga? There was a lot riding on today, even if winning the league was unlikely. Poor, poor show. And the fans suffer again.

Exactly, Gilly. Mon has not only walked into a mess once this season, he's had to do it twice, as you mention with not his own players. Not only that, he wasn't given any money in January, or at least didn't spend any. He's managed to motivate his players "twice." McInnes has come in, hit the ground running.
Postecoglou has done it as well. It's only at Rangers we hear this nonsense, it's nothing but an excuse, sick of hearing excuses season after season.

It seems the only thing stopping guys shouting for dr to go is because we have gone through too many managers.
I don't know where I stand because the last manager to win the league took 3 seasons.
Gutless performance today by not only the players, but the manager has to take the blame too.

Think there's another point to be made with the difference in squad is they had McGregor, Tierney, McCowan, Scales, Forrest, Ralston in their 20 man squad today, all Celtic men know what it means, would run through walls for their team. We have none of that.
Maybe getting the likes of Ferguson, McLean, McBurnie in who know what it means to play for the club you love would make a difference. Might not be the most gifted in the world, but would give you more grit, more fight. The players we have, have the heart of house flies.

Last summer did us with Martins signings, none of whom have been much good all season. I see folk saying Rohl never picks our strongest team, but I have no idea what that is? This possession football, at a slow pace, never worries any opposition team, coupled with no leaders on the pitch, is killing us. Rohl's reception at Ibrox on Wednesday will be interesting!

Danny has messed up at the end, but Mon took over players who were the current champions, but were badly managed for a month, and when Rodgers had a hissy fit. Rohl took over a complete bunch of duds. There's a big difference.

Celtic have a better squad than us at the moment imo. They certainly have better forwards. Maeda and Nygren are the sort of front players we are crying out for.

Rohl has the same players Martin did, bar Rommens and Chukwuani, who are regular starters.
He's certainly had more of a tune out of them than the previous manager did. And they're not his.

Celtic were a better team than us before Nancy came in. They won the league last year. Most of that team have been together for a lot longer than ours.
This is not an excuse, but there aren't many managers who would or could have done better with this squad, who were conditioned from the outset by RM to play this frustrating way.
