You want change after a manager who has had no preseason and is managing a group of players conditioned to play for Russel Martin after only a few months.
Will you treat Gerrard the same way, or will you give him another 3 years to deliver a single trophy?
Does Gerrard get 1 window, and is told if he doesn't win everything within a few months, having only had 1 window with 4 signings, he is out the door as a failure?

Rab, I can't SG out of my mind, although I accept that many good posters on here don't feel the same.
EHL has always said SG is not a good coach, which the man has admitted himself and would bring in a good coach to assist him.
I have always felt that with unique pressures at Ibrox, a real leader is required at Rangers, like Souness, Smith and Gerrard.
I can not think otherwise.
On a practical level, I feel DR will get the majority of next season, with his own players.
I honestly don't know how it will go. Cavenagh likes and rates him and will back him to the hilt.
Just got to see how this goes. I really hope DR can turn it around. He is now under pressure.

Ran, he's turned us down, this ain't all on the manager! The playing squad needs another overhaul, recruitment last summer was bad! Few gree shoots staring to appear, but we still need half a new team!
