Here's a question troops. I've just watched all tavs free kicks he's scored from. All time british goal scoring full back. I know we all have our options of stay or leave but correct me if I'm wrong. We paid 200k for him. Is Tav in modern times our biggest ever bargain buy.

All things considered, I don't think anyone can argue with that, tbh. His number of appearances alone make him a bargain. Yes, his legs are about done, and his time is almost up, and he's been much criticised, but nobody can fault his efforts and commitment to Rangers.
I for one will be attending his testimonial and thanking him for his service to the club.

As a club, we haven't delivered enough in his time here. The fact he is still here, 10 years later, having cost so little would make me agree with your view.

100% great servant of club.but when time is done time is done hope he does draw it out and hurt his memory. I wouldn't mind him staying as a back up option but not on wages he's currently on

Absolute bargain he was & yes, he has his critics & maybe doesn't show captain traits as often as he should, but nobody can deny he stuck with us through some tough times when others walked away. He totally deserves his testimonial & a proper thankyou/send off from a full Ibrox.
Personally I'd give him a yearly rolling contract, kinda like Balogun & I'd start playing him further up in midfield or even RW. Like him or not, still our best deliverer into the box; just his pace & defending that's suffering as he's getting on.

Davie watched all his free kicks as well on TikTok. None of them were ok, they're all absolutely brilliant. The guy has a wand of a foot. An absolute bargain and gentleman, great servant. Would love him to lift the trophy at the end of season, go out on a massive high, he thoroughly deserves it imo.
