After yesterday I was curious about how many players we are actually going to lose this summer from loans and OOC and after watching the Spurs YT channel where they followed wee Mikey Moore, it's clear as day he won't be back next season regardless of where they are playing. SO we are set to lose.
Tav -OOC and hopefully not re-signed
Rice - OOC
Cornelius - Loan
Meghoma - Loan
Djiga - Loan
Aarons - Loan
ASO - Loan
Moore - Loan
Wright - OOC
That's 8 first team players we are losing and that's if the likes of Raskin, Diomande or Fernandez are not sold which I believe we will lose at least 3 players to sales.
That is going to make this summer one of the biggest and most important rebuilds we will have gone through probably since we came back up imo, because if we win the league and get CL we can't be signing dross to pad the numbers. We have our work cut out this summer especially since it's also a WC year which we all know makes getting deals done even harder. One things for sure we will not be bored over the summer!

From your list, Moore and Djiga, and to a lesser extent Meghoma, will be missed. The rest are easily replaced if all you're looking for is like for like, i.e. bench warmers.

To be brutally honest, I don't think any of them are worth signing unless the fee is small.
Even Moore, I wouldn't pay "good" money for.
There are better/good as players out there for cheaper.
A bunch of players in our own league could be a great addition to our squad.
I don't feel we currently have that one player that it's a tragedy if he's not playing.
There are, however, a few where it's a tragedy if they do play. Souutar, Aarons, Tav and so on. LOL.

Guys, you are missing the point here, whether we would or wouldn't sign these players, this is still a lot of players leaving and add in the players Paul mentions and we are most likely losing 11 or more players.
So, we have to be on point from the moment the season ends and all through the summer as we don't want or need squad players, we want and need players that enhance our team from what it is currently.
So, a huge summer is needed and we really can't afford many misses imo as if we get CL football we need a brilliant pre season and time for players to gel etc etc.

We are going to need starters for cb, rb, cam and rw at minimum in summer. People like Raskin and Manny are more likely to stay if we win the league and get CL, or would take more for them to leave.

Bbj, I wrote a big massive story on why it's a good thing that a lot of these players are leaving, but the top and bottom of it is, these departures free up big wages, and a lot of the players are past it or can't cut it, with the exception of a few.
We need fresh blood and hungry players.
Hopefully a blend of young Scottish talent who know the demands of the club and experience and flair from Europe.
Massive summer coming up and I'm sure the club will have already identified what we need to push forward.
In the meantime we have a league to win, so it's a great opportunity for these players to win a trophy and leave on a high.

Big blur, see it as a blessing. It will give Dr a real good chance to bring in his own players and potentially our transfer budget could be massive. 8/10 to stay with FIFA guidelines.
16m share issue was stated. Some will be used on the squad and potentially player sales. I believe our player trading model will come fully into effect this summer with some big money sales.

Good lord no, although many don't see it, his whole profile I'd want 20 million. I spoke to a top agent in England on Saturday who says Rangers do not, as a club, appreciate what the lad's potential is.

We simply won't be paying the money that Wolverhampton want to Djiga and, frankly, he isn't worth it. He sold the first goal at least at Falkirk, and if that had been Souttar there would have been post after post about him. We can and will get better than him at a far better price.

Star, so all those you mention that we need signed, that is a hell of a lot of 1st team players to be signed, as I stated we don't want squad players bringing in. The point of a window is to make the 1st team stronger and improve the quality, while making the others that are still here fight for a place.
Yeah, I agree, John. I wouldn't keep any of them, as none have impressed, and I think with some shrewd business this summer we could improve on all of those players leaving.
Chermiti may come good next season, as the lad must have something about him, as he is regularly selected for Portugal U21s, and with the talent they have in abundance, that isn't easy to do. He is highly regarded, but will we see the best of him.

RFC, I totally agree, and I for one can't wait for Tav to be gone, as for me he is the core of the current "leadership" group and he isn't a captain imo, of course. So, I for one am glad this lot are away and give Rohl and Stig the chance to bring a better profile of player to our club.
Whatever happens this season, we are in for one hell of a summer and I can't wait for it.

You could see why any club would want Chermiti, and 20 mill plus add on is not a lot for a striker. He may have looked like a waste of 10 mill, but he will be difficult to replace unless serious money is spent.
Don't see Manny at 30 mill, but 20 plus with add on looks likely.
Raskin a good World Cup who knows the figure.
But will not be easy to replace.
Djija has improved as the season progressed, with Wolves relegated. How much to deal? Probably wages could be a problem.

Bbj, yes his time has come to move on, he has become a liability but undoubtedly has been a fantastic servant to the club and has been a brilliant player for us.
Exciting times ahead regardless of the outcome of this campaign.
A lot of out goings and in comings, and I hope we get it right with recruitment.
Where we are in terms of league position, considering the disaster which was Rm, is quite remarkable.

Star, mate, you honestly miss the point entirely. A transfer window is to improve the first team, and you have listed what we currently have, not to mention Sterling, who can't stay fit.
We have to improve on that team you have listed, and it needs a good bump in quality, with an experienced head to lead them too.
Also, Djiga isn't our player, and Wolves won't sell him on the cheap, as he will likely start for them next season.

I think Raskin could go this summer, hopefully after a decent World Cup & I honestly think we already have a replacement for him in Barron. I'd even consider making Barron captain. Keep Curtis & Cameron in the squad, get the young lad Graham in, get one or 2 other home grown fringe lads LB, LW, then fork out for 1st team RB, CB (possibly 2 if Manny goes), RW & a proven ST.
Replacements obv for any that leave like Gassama, Aasgaard etc., so yes, it's going to be a busy window, hampered by World Cup, so I hope we get some core business done ASAP.

You do know if a player asks for a transfer they lose their 5% cut off the fee.
