BB4 sorry for making this a new post but it is easier than responding on multiple posts.
Thanks for your kind sentiments and I am trying not to let my own frustrations bother me.
Thanks for everyone else for your kind sentiments.
One thing I will clear up is that I am not having a meltdown because Skog Olsen is getting slated.
I made a post in November stating I was wrong in judging certain players too early and calling there characters into question. I vowed not to make that same error of judgement again.
As for getting frustrated with my own headspace I am trying my best.
As many know I have been on this site for many years without any arguments and major fallout.
I have had a few things happen in my family life over the past 14 months and unfortunately I sort of fell apart.
Coupled with some people's who are no longer part of the site direct targeting of me I became very defensive.
Some of my mistakes have been huge and I take full responsibility for the mistakes I have made.

Aphe, you're a tetchy bugger at times, but I like that.
Come on here with your heart on your sleeve, get some frustrations out, get it all out and know it's a safe space.
This isn't a site whereby your issues or problems will be fixed, but letting off steam about the club is good.
I don't mind a debate or an argument or sharing an opinion, but know that I and others enjoy your posts. Regardless of how grumpy they are. ??

That made me laugh Rosto, thanks. ?
20 Mar 2026 20:34:52
Who's this Skog ? Olsen fella, never heard of him. ? ? ? Is he Skov's brother? ?
What happened to proof reading, Aphe? ? ?
20 Mar 2026 20:42:42
Fork ??? I am fed up correcting it. Fat fingers. ?
But yes Skog Olsen is the one playing poorly, Skov is still to arrive.

Aphe, I'll put some stuff up as a research point for you. Your choice if you look it up or not, but might help with some frustrations and any troubling stuff in personal life:
Cognitive Defusion
Psychological flexibility
Automatic negative thoughts
Incongruence Vs congruence
As I say, completely your call, bud.
The cognitive defusion stuff especially helped me with a lot of my issues a few years ago.

Aphe. ???
20 Mar 2026 21:19:32
Thanks, Ayrshire. I will certainly do some research. That will keep my scientific mind working better than the breathing exercises the counselor recommended.
20 Mar 2026 21:23:06
Ayrshire, unfortunately, when running businesses there is no time to process what's going on personally. I guess the mind is active.
I use the site to get away from the day to day, but unfortunately that is when my mind wanders to different, more personal things.
20 Mar 2026 21:42:47
Aphe, these things that we push to the back of our minds have a terrible habit of reappearing when we least expect it.
You need to take the time to look after the mind as much as you would the body in the gym.
You're one of our own and you're allowed to have a bad day, make an ar*e of yourself on a post or whatever. We all do. Look at Fork, he does it on an hourly basis. ?
Cut yourself some slack and keep posting.

I know we butt heads at times, mate, but as others have said to me, especially when u have gone through a lot, take the help u can and whatever support u can to clear your head.
20 Mar 2026 22:03:44
Aphe just post whatever and everyone gets a touch irritated at times especially when real life stuff effects you. We agree we disagree it doesn't really matter as everyone adds something to the site!
My latest post if approved by the eds was a wee bit tetchy and I feel I should have worded it much better but like you I have stuff going on irl that has effected my mood lately and it got the better of me. ?
20 Mar 2026 22:06:31
Aphe, I don't think any of your mistakes were huge on here; in fact I would struggle at times to argue they were mistakes; but Skov Olsen I draw the line at. any real fan who can't get the names of our players right needs to step back from the site immediately and never set foot on here again ?.
however I would suggest you have a look at some of the therapies that Ayrshire mentions as they might be of use.
but I say again don't take it all too seriously. this is meant to be a bit of fun and a way to let of steam from the daily grind. we all get caught up in it sometimes too much and make mistakes (as you call them). I just call it being human. we are all that and most know and learn to accept the imperfections we and others have.

Good evening, Aphe. I have been very much uplifted by the people on this site, going back almost a decade, from my illness in 2017 to my son's death last December. I would imagine, as a business owner, that the added stress from this Middle East conflict may weigh heavily on your shoulders, my friend.
Don't be slow to speak out, as you'll feel better in the long run. Take care, Aphe.
21 Mar 2026 00:43:24
All good, Aphe, we will have many disagreements on stuff, but I'll always respect you as a poster on here, mate. I probably could have worded it better, Aphe, but it's something I'm not so good at explaining myself. I meant no harm with my post, and if it came across that way, my apologies. Keep the head up, ok. ?
21 Mar 2026 05:59:56
I see they're still spelling your name wrong "Athole". ???
21 Mar 2026 06:44:56
Aphelion, you know how much I rate/like you as a poster on here, despite our difference of opinions from time to time, because, as you know, that's what makes this site great, and different things to debate about.
? Hope you never become a stranger to this site, where you're always welcome, pal. You know everyone on here is always here for you. ? Take care, Aphelion. ? I wish you nothing but the best.
21 Mar 2026 07:43:31
Fork, ??? Very witty.
21 Mar 2026 07:59:15
Fork/Athole, excellent guys. Love a bit of that sort of banter back and forth. No malice, just funny. ?
21 Mar 2026 08:05:51
You're a valued part of the site, Aph. I like your outlook and agree with lots of it. Nothing wrong with giving players time. Si Ferry recently did an interview with the Motherwell manager, who talks really well about young men moving thousands of miles away from home and families, and the psychological effects, and I suppose we forget sometimes.
Take care, mate.
