Manny Souttar and even Wee Raskin are all really fantastic in the air. Chermiti and Naderi have height.
It's the first time since 9 in a row we can say we're more physical than them, and more of an aerial threat than them.
That's what wins the Scottish league: height and strength before fancy rubbish with skilful, tidy players.
Advocaat had a top-class European squad, and O'Neill came in and bullied us for 3 out of 4 years with sheer power, height, and strength.
We have that now.
Sterling, Soapy, Manny, Chucky, Naderi, Chermiti, even Rommens and Skov Olsen are all good, but over 6ft 1/2 plus, and that's where we punish them, defo.

I'll go with caution. They may be playing poor, but they still are in the title hunt, and that is despite the weeks of Nancy. O'Neill and their captain will have them fired up.
Form goes out the window in the OF, as we know and have experienced many times in the past. I will take a 1-0 win and move on, but before that, we must beat Livi.

Stevie G, Souttar is great in the air? He rarely gets off the ground for attacking corners, and when he does win a header it's usually weak or misdirected. Even our new set piece coach hasn't managed to find a way of getting him a goal.
Fernandez is great in the air, Raskin is great in the air, but not Souttar, or Djiga for that matter.
I once heard a guy shout at Gordom Smith, "You were higher before you jumped," and that pretty much applies to Souttar too.

If we tell our attackers to shoot to the right, they'd be as well off having Casper the Friendly Ghost in nets.
With Rommens, arguably our best creative option right now, that means Schmeichel will be in for a torrid time if we bomb down the left, swing it in, and constantly have him diving onto his dodgy left shoulder.
I'd be encouraging the team to have pot shots from distance as well.
I think the performance from him will be so bad he'll get dropped for the cup game.
I would definitely take 2 scrappy 1 nil wins, though. ? ?

More nervous about the Livi game than the Old Firm game, which I can't believe I'm saying. That will change in the run up to the game, right enough. Like others at Ibrox, I can sense we are on to something, which has been helped hugely by January transfers.
Would take 1-0 in both games right now, but I just think we have goals in this team now, which is where the confidence comes from.

I've written "good"; I should have said "good height", but I only wrote "good", sorry.
Surely yous know I'm probably his biggest critic for his lack of consistency in the air. He makes many, many mistakes a season. I've said it for 4 years.
