ED, can you run a poll for me regarding mikey Moore mate? My poll being would you want mikey Moore to stay for another season on loan, or do you want him to go back to spurs after this season? Cheers ED and very much appreciated?

Mikey Moore poll

No brainer. The boy will go on to do great things with all his memories of the famous intact. 2 seasons for me.

06 Feb 2026 19:54:34
Any1 who doesn't want him to stay is off their head. We have 0 chance of getting him tho.

06 Feb 2026 20:10:56
I said return to Spurs, mostly because I don't believe we can keep him and, secondly, because I don't want a loan that prohibits the development of players we own.

06 Feb 2026 20:13:11
Such an interesting poll, considering so many would have been happy to drive him back to London earlier on the season.

06 Feb 2026 20:14:59
I'm off my head then.

06 Feb 2026 20:55:20
Me too.

06 Feb 2026 21:01:23
Super talent, keep him if you can. Get your point, Aph, but we'll probably dip the loan market again anyway, and not many better to be had imo.

06 Feb 2026 21:19:25
I also think he should go back. I would like to see us in a situation where we don't need loan players.

06 Feb 2026 21:45:59
One really good game against Killie, and everyone thinks he's Messi. He's a decent young player, as most.

06 Feb 2026 22:01:23
I still don't think he gets into a top Prem league team atm. Development is key for an 18/19 year old, so an extension to the loan for 1 year would prob suit both parties.

To be fair, EHL, it wasn't Rangers that put the 20 million price tag on MM, so can understand supporters being initially disappointed, prob expecting the next Rooney or Giggs.

As you know more than most, with high calibre kids they need time to grow, and now the support can see the potential. MM will benefit from this environment and, ironically, imo the brutal criticism will accelerate his growth.

06 Feb 2026 22:16:01
He would stop Curtis progressing, so not for another season.

06 Feb 2026 22:21:49
So Skov Olsen or Mikey Moore, who is your choice then? I think the word is reactive; every time the team have a good game/result or a bad game/result, we have either won or lost the league. Similar with players as well.

Not that long ago he was so rubbish we would have driven him back to London. Like the team, how about a bit of consistency. ?
Btw Messi is currently valued at £15M, same as him. Who would you rather have? ?

06 Feb 2026 22:25:49
R1, I am certainly not against loans, but I would prefer to loan players we have an option to sign permanently.

06 Feb 2026 23:01:51
Which players will Moore prohibit the development of? We will utilise the loan market again in the summer, same as we do every year. Should we not sign loan players anymore?

06 Feb 2026 23:31:42
Why is it Mikey Moore who is directly stopping Curtis from developing? Olsen is on a loan. Is he stopping him then? Should we not sign him permanently?

06 Feb 2026 23:35:14
Curtis, Glasgow, Antman, New permanent signing could all play the rotation left position vacated by Moore in the summer.

07 Feb 2026 08:46:24
Moore gets it here. He has understood what is required at only 18, and i believe he thrives on it. He is going to have a very good career.

07 Feb 2026 08:48:32
OT, I only want loans where we have an option to sign permanently.

07 Feb 2026 09:24:02
We can get Moore on loan next season, am all for it.

07 Feb 2026 10:02:03
OT, you do know we have an option to buy with Olsen. ? That's the difference. How do you not get that?

07 Feb 2026 10:38:59
Lol Strom, you never disappoint. For 1, I posted that before Aphelion's post about that was put up (mind, you were the one that pointed this out to me ?), and 2, I do get it.

But Olsen still initially got brought in on a loan, which limits Curtis game time, hence why he has been loaned out. What is it you don't get about that? ??

07 Feb 2026 11:58:25
I'm off my head too. We can't have Moore, so we win with our own players. He shone the other night. One great game after quite a few ineffective cameos. I like him, but we can't have him, so go back home.

07 Feb 2026 12:18:12
I'm with you, My star, regarding Mikey Moore. If we can possibly get him for another season on loan, then we do it, for me. Absolutely no brainer from where I'm sitting. The boy is quality and will only help us achieve things. ???

07 Feb 2026 14:41:57
I think we are starting to see just how special this boy can be. Spurs obv knew it, hence the 5 yr contract before the loan, & i'd love to have him another season. In saying that, i would however be disappointed if we didn't at least ask Spurs if a permanent deal could be possible, but i suspect, given how mad transfers are down there nowadays, he will be well out of our reach.

After a settling in period, he looks happy, clearly loves the club, is getting plenty game time, & with us has opportunities he simply wudnt get down there just now, so you never know.
