Really poor first half, quite a turn around in the second. Rommens looks quality, early days though. The newbies certainly did not look out of place. I am Skov will co.e good for us.
Like many l thought Micky Moore's running terrorised Killie defenders at times.

I know Killie are not exactly flying high, but let's hope these players look at that second half and realise, we can play like that against anyone.
Oh and a big shout out for Dio as well.

Moore is different class, runs so easy with the ball, super player.

Mikey Moore is very direct and commits opposing defenders. Terrific attacking young footballer, who's got a superb career ahead of him. Just a pity it won't be with us long term. ☹️

Ibrox noise with their usual crap saying we should invest in the permanent signing of Mikey Moore from Tottenham for 15 million. ? Firstly, there's absolutely no chance of Spurs selling us Moore for 15 million, and we wouldn't pay that amount for 1 player, not to mention they value him at nearer 20 million.

? The best we can hope for is getting him in another season long loan deal after this season, but feel if Spurs send him out on loan again they will want him to go to a better technical league to get experience and tested there at that level. ?

06 Feb 2026 14:54:29
Nope, send him back, he's not ours. Get him another year and players we actually own or want to develop suffer. Good player, but no.

06 Feb 2026 15:01:48
To say that Moore was the reason we won on Wednesday forgets the efforts of the other players. Also, forgetting all the games he has had this season when he hasn't performed at that level.

Not a criticism as such, more a realisation that at 18/19 he will be inconsistent. But for £15-20m, I would expect us to get at least 3 players of similar or better ability.

06 Feb 2026 15:12:25
I'm of the opinion that if Spurs intend to keep him out on loan next season and Moore is happy here, and he's playing plenty, then Spurs will be happy enough for him to stay in Scotland. He has technical ability, and that will improve as he progresses. The physical demands of the Scottish game will stand him in good stead.

He will be playing in a team that dominates the ball and also in a high pressure environment. Add to that the opportunity to play in European competition, then we're very well placed to attract him for another season.

Moore seems to be coming onto some good form, but fair comments, Fork and Angus.
I, like you, would love to see some of our younger players making the step up.
I read John's input on our youngsters with great interest.

06 Feb 2026 16:17:06
SWS, unfortunately you're probably right in saying Spurs will very likely want him loaned out down south next season.

Nothing we can do about that, and yes, he had a great game against Killie, but he's had a few games when he has shown very little - even dr has mentioned that fairly recently.

Anyway, let's hope he can replicate that great performance, and just enjoy the young guy when he's here.

06 Feb 2026 16:35:48
Only difference, none of our youngsters are on a par with Moore. He will go on to have a career at top level. Curtis, Cameron are currently at clubs which will probably be the level they will achieve long term.
Let's hope Glasgow proves to be the one who is.

06 Feb 2026 16:59:20
Moore has come on significantly in the last six weeks, but keeping him is to the detriment of Curtis.

06 Feb 2026 17:03:48
SWS agreed, to be honest i don't think we can afford him, even on loan next year, unless they subsidise his salary again.

06 Feb 2026 17:21:32
I think if we get Champions League football, then that would be an incentive for Spurs to extend Moore's loan with us. I don't see Moore being a big part of Spurs' plans next season.

06 Feb 2026 17:55:25
John, its up to Curtis to show he deserves a game more than Moore, although I think dr likes him, and we will see him part of next year's first team.

06 Feb 2026 18:24:59
Curtis has shown up well, very better than Matondo, Gassama, Aasgaard, Antman, and, till recently, was better than Moore, one Walter.

06 Feb 2026 18:39:07
John, I agree. Yes, our youngsters need to be good, but they need to have a development path to get them there. Moore was sent to us as the pressure and games he would play would improve him, so surely, by the same logic, allowing Curtis to play these games would improve him also.

Killie gives him starts and minutes, but only to get him to a stage where he can come back and play the games Moore is for us.

06 Feb 2026 19:13:18
Hi John, as you know, there is nothing that pleases me more than seeing our own boys coming through. However, right now we need to play the best players we can get our hands on, and right now Moore is quite a way ahead of Curtis, so it's better that the lad gets a lot more games under his belt at Killie, then next season.

Who knows?

06 Feb 2026 19:20:15
Moore was involved in 4 out of the 5 goals on Wednesday night, so he is rightly getting the praise. I don't see Spurs wanting to sell him, certainly not at a price we can afford, but I would definitely take him on loan for another season if it was a possibility.
