I think we should play to win and will. Don't think there's any risk it affects transfer business as it seems well underway. I think we should be looking to secure win money which will go towards summer business. Is it not something like £600k for a group stage win alone, a couple of wins would be a tidy sum. No chance we progress but some money and a bit of pride at stake still.
We then focus on winning the league and CL next season.

so the downside of playing a reserve team is future years European qualification. the lower down the country coefficient goes the less teams from Scotland who get in and those who do play in the lower tournament and start earlier.
also this year if we win the league we will probably get straight into the ECL group phase. that is because we have done well in Europe over the past 5 years.
year 5 drops off at start of next season and we want to have as many points this year to stop us dropping too many places.
league is worth 2 buttons ha'penny in cash for us; Europe is worth multiple times that.
so do you still think we shouldn't try to win the next 2 games?

We need coefficients points just for making sure that if we do win the league we go straight into the champions league, strong team for me.

I'm in two minds, I wouldn't play as weak a team as we did agaisnt Annan but I'd also give some players a rest for Sunday and get some of the fringe players playing Miovski etc but not the likes of Rothwell Dowell.

It will be irking the players as much as it obviously irking Danny how badly our European campaign has went. We will go all out to rectify that on Thursday night and carry the momentum of a win into the weekend game with Dundee. Putting out a half baked team is not an option at this stage.
