Right I know this is premature and slightly controversial but I think the love for the club that DR is showing could take him to be a great manager, yes he's young, yes he's inexperienced, but he engages with the fans, he seems to 'get it' and want it means to manage Rangers.
so far his record is "good" (ignoring the dodgy tic reffing) but the team seems to want to fight for the manager and the jersey. I could look like a complete idiot over the course of the season but he seems to have brought a bit of fight into the team.

He's done well.
I just wish he'd have been here in the summer.
It would have been interesting to see what players we'd have brought in.

I was quite excited when we got him as I knew he was very well regarded as a coach.
However, I have to say I've been really impressed by how good he's been with the media and the fans.
Not bad for a yes man.

We need to give him a couple years to do what he is doing. Genuinely clement and beale might of done a job also if given time.
10 Nov 2025 10:29:59
Hi Mark, agreed, don't think we would have half of the ones we currently have.
10 Nov 2025 10:37:20
I refuse to get carried away as we have experienced far too many false dawns. So far he's done OK, and doing well in the league, but it's still very early days.
I have to say that his antics at the end of the game were way too OTT. It was rather cringey and he really needs to forget this sort of thing. There is nothing wrong with celebrating, and so he should, but not in this way.
10 Nov 2025 10:49:07
That's the same as me Mark, just think where we could have been. I had fully written the season off but I think we have a chance of saving it. We just need to focus on 3 points against Livi.
10 Nov 2025 11:11:56
Need to pick up points in Europe. If we don't beat ludogorets at home its a shambles.
10 Nov 2025 11:18:34
He's a breath of fresh air compared to Martin.
Doesn't throw players under the bus.
Not afraid to change it tactically.
Or different formations according to the opposition.
Early days. But all he can do is try and get a winning team on the park from the players at his disposal.
Rohl - 9 points from 3 games.
Martin - 9 points from 8 games.
That statistic says it all.
Same group of players.

There is no argument that Danny Rohl has had a decent start domestically. He's having to work with players who frankly will never be good enough who were signed by donkeys who have sullied the name of our club, Martin and Thelwell.
I have no doubt that Danny will improve our club and bring in players who are better but he is almost literally fighting with one hand behind his back.

Kiwi
Steady old fruit, and don't put kibosh on rebirth. Will say after Dundee game feeling damned good, even better jam tarts dropping points. Gers goals spot on, great movement and finishing.
10 Nov 2025 12:11:24
Ryan Beale? Nope he got to much time that guy.
Don't see a problem with the way he is celebrating with the fans. If someone thinks it cringey then that's their issues not his.
Just my opinion.

Agree with you Kiwi, little things I like so far:
1: Rohl passion on the sideline, kicking every ball.
2: on the pitch with the subs before HT has finished explaining what he wants.
3: the way he speaks before and after games is refreshing.
4: some improvements in some players, he strikes me as a good man manager.
5: the engagement with the fans, it's creating a far more positive atmosphere in general.
Yes it's early days and there will be challenges still to come but he could be the man we have needed. It genuinely seems to care and that's refreshing based on where we were just a few weeks ago.

He appreciates the fans support and has a likable personality. He just needs to call Big Jorg if he needs any advice. How i miss those thunderbolt hammer shots ?. Legend.
10 Nov 2025 13:07:04
Really happy with him so far. Excited to see what he can do with these players and just hope he's given the proper backing and recruitment guys have learned from mistakes.
10 Nov 2025 13:44:44
Whats he doing now?
Anybody know.
10 Nov 2025 15:18:38
Bit premature. I remember he Clement would be up and down the touchline and I genuinely thought he'd bring back success so i'd wait a bit and see how danny gets on if he can get 1 or 2 players in jan but early signs are positive.
10 Nov 2025 15:36:58
Onewaltersmith - I think that Clement would have been a great manager too. But, it's great to hear the fans getting behind Danny Rohl. He's a serious manager and all the trajectories are moving upwards at last. I read yesterday that the targets for the January window are all from outwith the UK which is more good news.
10 Nov 2025 15:45:37
It was the wrong time for Clement, he was doing jobs he never signed up for.
