Could someone if they have the time fill me in on Lyall Cameron. don't really know much about him at all but getting the jist that's folks think he's a very good player. Seems like a cracking young man, hope he does well. EHL do we see him in the 1st 11.

Tjb. Go look at his stats last season for a struggling dundee team. Personaly i don't see him as a mainstay starting 11 this season but next season I do. exact type of player were needing in midfield.

Seems to find space well in tight areas and can pick a pass through a defence. comfortable on the ball and has good goal and assists.

Time will tell if young Cameron can make the grade really hoping he does as we have been crying out for a regular attacking midfield goalscorer probably last one was Arfield.

Same type of player as Arfield but a better natural finisher in my opinion.

TJBB, he's effectively competing with Raskin in the midfield, so no, I don't see him being a regular starter - unless Raskin is sold.
He is pretty versatile, so we may see him filling in on the right at times.

Barring injury can't see him breaking into first 11 this year. I do hope he's given decent game time to prove himself though, think he's a we rough diamond that needs polished.

See them as different players ehl. Cameron more forward thinking. Would think he's competing more with aasgaard.

I agree Blue, that Lyall Cameron is the same type of player as our very own scotty arfield ?If he even ends up anywhere near as good as arf, that will do me because i absolutely loved Arfield playing for us and rated him very highly, not to mention he's a great fella all round ???.

Rusty, the boy ehl sees them everyday in training I think he would know.

Rusty, they are very different players, but they are both right sided 8's.
I think Thelo and Dio will be battling it out for the left sided 8 position.
However similar to Cameron, Thelo can also play out wide.
So there may even be occasions where all 4 are on the pitch at the same time.

All about opinions Blue89,but although i rate and like lyall cameron, he's not a better/ more natural finisher than scotty arfield my friend and has a good bit to go to be better than arf mate ?.

Storm of his opinion. Everybody has there own opinion. Ehl works there everyday and thinks jefte is a top performer. I think polar opposite to that along with 90% of thr support. But everybody is entitled to an opinion ??.
