Not being disrespectful just honest. Both bad bad buys and it's coming back to bite us because there ain't exactly stampede yet for them. Unfortunately best route Bham City don't seem that keen so speaks volumes. I'll be taken aback anybody comes in and we recoup some cash because they ain't played comp game in more than season. If we get 2m both I'll be astounded.

I'm with you on that Miller, just call it what it is. The majority of our signings over the last 3 to 4 years have been absolute garbage. Our Managers have also been garbage. Millions wasted on rebuild after rebuild. How many years now have we heard about this one or that one is top drawer, aye right ok we've heard it before. Its still true whether or not its disrespectful. Martin has a job on his hands. I just hope he gets it and gets it quick.

They payed plenty of competitive football last season with Birmingham and both done very well. I for one would like us to keep Davies for the season as we need an experienced back up, Dowell can go as we've plenty options in midfield.

Birmingham fans all raved about Dowell and Davies, so much so they couldn't believe we put them out for loan when we ourselves were playing so bad in the league. "One man's sh**e is another man's treasure" as they say.

Millerbrandwilson, out of curiosity what is it about ben davies that is so bad? People's attitude towards davies is way over the top, not anywhere near as bad as people make out just because he made one mistake against celtic.
both had good seasons at birmingham, they may well still come in for one of them or both. We didn't sign ryan kent till september after a good loan spell, just because it hasn't happened in the first 3 weeks doesn't mean it's not happening.

The window is open until September 1st. Birmingham may still be interested but just haven't moved as yet. they haven't really replaced the players they lost yet since end of last season. so are two players who know the club and the manager priority. It might be a tact to get lower prices and salaries as we get closer to close of window. both will be fit from our pre-season and if they down get a move I suspect further loans.

Blue will be more mental when he can't get in the side for Jay Stansfield, Osayi-Samuel was a good signing for them.

Angus they have signed a couple of midfielders mate, Dowell was playing more as a rw for them, signed a couple of wingers as well, not signed any cb's though.

Unfortunately for us there isn't any other interest in the players - so Birmingham hold all the cards and will more than likely wait until the end of the window in order to drive down our valuations.

EHL we shouldn't be playing hardball anyway due to the wages they are on i'd accept £2m combined. Maybe even less and itll save £2.5m in wages for the upcoming season.

Reading Birmingham FC forums they want Davies back and most fans are saying he'll be with them.
Not much mention of Dowell.
Davies i'd have back before Propper or King
Dowell when fit I think isn't too bad we have worse but we will probably have too Many midfielders for him to get much game time.

R2 I'm not convinced he'd get a game for Aberdeen. Obviously our game doesn't suit him up here. Hopefully he gets a move back south, stays fit and has a decent career.

Star correct I used transfermarkt and whilst they have bought others in their areas of the pitch they haven't replaced the same numbers they have lost. I still see they have space for both.
Mark Birmingham will unfortunately do what is best for them and not care about us. I think EHL has said we have players identified and we just have to hope they are still free or are convinced to come to us and don't sign for others.

They were good enough to get bham promoted, but now they got more money they will look elsewhere, think our bet would be to sell to similar clubs chasing promotion this year.
