Would anyone take Ange as Scotland manager?
Don't think it's realistic, but was mentioned on a phone in and has caused a bit of debate this morning.

Don't think there's many if any Scotland players that could play his style/ tempo. He'll get a decent job.

Would take anyone as long as it was replacing Clarke. Far too negative and not going to take us forward. 100 percent was take postecoglu. He is a good manager regardless of where he has been.

I actually think ange will stay down south. Maybe not for start of season but possible taking over a team at some point.

Aw come on guys can we please stop the big Ange love in. It's like an obsession. Can u imagine him with our calamity defence? Absolutely found out at top level. Spurs fans were calling for him from about November and would anyone have batted an eyelid if they'd sacked him after we played them or at any point in months after. Yes injuries but did they improve at all in the league when they were back? Now big outcry because he won a devalued cup against teams not at their level. Think spurs were decent to him letting him see out the season.

Kaiser you don't like him and others do. just accept it. Ange said that after January window he prioritised the Europa at the expense of the league as he knew it would win a trophy and get them Champions League. so there was a reason for the results not improving and even at the time of the final he still had 2-3 players out injured and some just coming back. Fans always call out for managers head and hopefully as an aside our board learn to ignore what the fans say.
re Ange for Scotland then yes it would be great to have an attacking style of play for a while. if we are going to lose 3-1 then I would rather it was an attractive style. we can't defend anyway so it seems to be the perfect fit.

Yes I would take Ange. We have some good attacking players but not getting the best out of them and this is where he'd improve us. Hopefully find a striker that can actually score goals. Defensively we are shocking anyway so how could he do worse.

The only comments I have seen from Spurs fans post sacking is that it was inevitable and that he leaves as a legend. For me, sacking him is the latest in a long line of stupid mistakes made by Levy while 'running' Tottenham. He's the one who should be moved on! Anyway, I digress - Big Ange for Scotland
As a matter of fact, if he'd been sacked a few days earlier, how many of you would have taken him at Rangers?

Can't get away from fact in last 20 months he has one of the worst records in England not just this season but let's get him for Scotland or even Rangers. Oh well. Mind blown. Angus remember him slaughtering fans for their loser mentality spurs to lose so arsenal wouldn't win league, so how is admitting basically giving up in the league acceptable. Yes spurs should celebrate the day but not something to build the future on.

Kaiser it was prioritising the EL before the League as they had huge injury lists and had to play a game every 4 days. Fans were talking about the same for us if we made the EL semi so loser mentality or prioritising the one trophy left to win.
He was 5th in his first season and won the EL in his second and guaranteed CL football with the uplift in prize money. surely we would want him to be given at least the start of the season with some new signings to see if it improved back to first season levels. first trophy in 18 years is something to build on. something Mourinho, Conte and Pochettino couldn't manage to do and I suspect they will go back to scrabbling away to get their next trophy win.

He was 5th because of his start before he was found out in the Chelsea game. After that everyone knew what to do and massive difference. Form after the 10 games would have had them 14-15th. Man U made the massive mistake or rewarding Ten Haag on basis of a cup. Others have removed managers despite wins because could see the obvious failing and didn't believe right man to move forward eg Di Matteo did what Jose couldn't. Also his style contributed largely to injuries he complained about.
