I watched some of this lads highlights and his ability to hit a dead ball is ridiculous. He scored free-kicks, he even scored directly from a corner about a week ago. The accuracy and movement of the ball is at an elite level. Not sure about the rest of his game but my word, that lad can shoot from distance.

sound like Ianis Hagi at age 20-21 was scoring crazy free kicks, pinging long passes to the feet of forwards and wingers in past teams, and scoring goals from corners, as well a some superb trickery for a lad his age. Far surpassing Tillman at same age.

Beale a Creative midfielder doesn't need to be lightning fast, his job in the team is to create hence the name, and the proof is there for all to see a 20-21 yr old Hagi was miles ahead of Tillman at the same age trying to compare both players is sheer madness, Tillman will never have the football intelligence Hagi has plain and simple.
I reckon give ti a year or 2 and Tillman will be playing in the MLS or worse in the german 2nd division or even worse on the bench for motherwell ;) one things for sure he won't eve be a rangers player again, not that he ever was anyway, he was good in Gio's system as an attacker, has been mince crap in Beale's system he just doesn't get that level of tactics, like a lost bairn at butlin's lol.

Speed is not a key attribute of a good number 10.
A good number 10 player should be skilled in dribbling, passing, and shooting. They should also have a good understanding of the game and be able to make quick decisions on the field
Hagi does all of the above, and extremely well when payed as a CAM.

The lad has struggled in the old firm matches, with the tempo, but he his young and has plenty of development in him. and btw his coach seen that in previous games and still plays him. Great tactician?

No.10s do not need pace. It's probably the one role you want to play if you lack pace.
Also a traditional no.10 isn't as common thing these days we have No.10s playing as no.8s a lot more now. Odegaard for example.
Pascal Gross, Tielemans, David Silva, Merino, Torres and even if we go back 10 years Ozil, Iniesta, Totti.

As I've said, tillman 5m price tag will stick in some fans throats and he'll always be judged harshly.
I think it's probably best now if he goes. However, yilmaz, raskin, cantwell, tillman are exactly the level of pedigree we should be building our team around.

Beale I agree not one player he mentioned is slower than hagi. Tillman better player than hagi IMO some people seem to think hagi is 2nd coming of messi before his injury. He wasn’t a 1st team starter every week before injury.

Just because he's had a few crappy performances, got injured and will unlikely stay it doesn't take him from one of our best performers to dug meat over night.
Most folk wanted him signed recently. So why not send the young man back to Bayern with best wishes, he's not been a bad signing at all especially for a loan.
He's probably not wanting to play in Scotland and I think for us he's probably going to be a bit too much of a risk injury wise to pay the 5m if that's what it is.

Theres midfielders much slower than hagi that have cut it in the prem, not to say Hagi will definitely be good enough to do the same but it won't be just down to pace if not. Juan Mata was never blessed with any pace and didn't do badly for himself.
I'm not sure anyone else in our squad takes that touch from 60 feet in the air at hampden perfectly in their stride that he did on sunday, IF he can get back to fitness I can definitely see him doing well for us next season.

I agree with 1975, John 27 posts are very interesting, all the guy is doing is telling us what he’s heard from people who know more than us. The first post I look for when I go on to the site is John 27, and there’s another few - Beale is very humorous, Copland is serious but honest with his views, it’s a good site, don’t let it be ruined. This team are immeasurably better set-up under Beale that they have been under any manager since Walter Smith. It was a fair shout a couple of years ago, but we can now go for better. If this year's team prove to be terrible, then come back and complain about it then.

You having a laugh Lundstram is slower than a weekend in Barlinnie and is never Rangers class. Kent waste of Jersey. If these 2 sign a new contract, then we're a laughingstock and have no money to spend. Kent couldn't lace Jota's boots.
