Beale has confirmed no pre season deal has been agreed for raskin, fingers crossed we can get this one over the line, feared this as no one confirmed he has signed a pre season contract with us, few wrong sources out there on this one good rumours thoe.

If Alfredo attitude is that bad why bring him on in the last 2 games.
Alfredo is over weight ok he missed a lot of pre season due to injury give him time to get sorted unless he is showing no signs of trying and again of that's the case why bring him on in the last 2 games.
He always let's the team down check his last red card was a while back he will still make mistakes like every other player.
But gio has picked his punishment and took him out manager lives by his choices.
I think the reaction is over the top and with 15 mins to go and we need a goal tomorrow night a would rather have Alfredo on the bench than not have.

he was brought on because he was in the process of returning to match fitness and saturday we needed him to hold the ball up and close the game down, he still gets paid a fortune and he was still the first choice striker, so bringing him on doesn't mean anything in this situation, whatever he has or hasn't done or said has obviously made things worse, disciplinary matters often take a few days before they are instigated, but, my loyalty is with rangers, no matter what players are involved, none are bigger, if it turns out alf has disrespected rangers then he is done here, if not then i'm sure he can recover from this, , imo, i found his red card at hibs very very debatable, i am trying not to say more about it, i've watched again and again, every part of it is not a good look.

OK so weight and fitness are not the issue then as he is in progress of getting fit so all good, his attitude can't be that bad as he's coming on and gio is happy for him to get on for fitness so its just the case of the red card as i said on the first post check his last red card he Will still make mistakes seems a bit harsh leaving him out of the squad all together due to a red card mate? . I agree no one is bigger than the club and I just want what's best for our great club iam just saying is the decision right for the club with the facts there?

His weight is the issue, it’s ok to use the fitness angle that he missed some or all of pre season, but he alone is in control of his weight. The fact that he has put on so much weight during the lay off screams an unprofessional attitude.
This is all down to Alfredo, I’m a big fan but the club should not tolerate this behaviour from anyone, he needs to get his act together or leave.

It was a red every day of the week for me as well Tom despite some people on here declaring they thought it wasn't. Says it all when we challenge the Lundstram red card but not Alfie's. Zero chance of getting that overturned.

Question for all,
What use make of how we play in our formation?
We seem to like to play two defensive midfielders out of 3 in midfield I. e big John and Jack or if not Jack, kamara or Davis, Davis I do like in there deep creativity I think helps but the other two I don't think are needed in the spl.
Iam worried along with the lack of fluency at this stage we could end up dropping a few points early in the season leaving us a up hill task.
In other words I don't like gios caution in the spl.
What use think?

G. I. I work in oil and gas engineering, we come up with issues all the time. People rack their brains to try and problem solve. Some ideas are called over engineering. This, in my view applies sometimes in football. By that I mean- maybe we're trying to hard trying to find the perfect goal. Over engineering sometimes doesn't work, we revert to trying the simple things which does bring results. So maybe trying the simple things in football may work.

I think Gio wants to play with three different types of mid.
One that sits, one box to box and one creative (which is typically how Dutch clubs set up) .
We just don't have that balance at the moment which is why we've seen Jack and Kamara struggle to fit the box to box role.

Bluebilly fair play mate makes sense had a we look seems a lot making same point but also take the point John that it covers tav and barisic just believe they are slowing the pace down and to defensive for the spl but definitely take the point on why gios does it .

Agree with john26, the 2 DCM's are to cover our wing backs getting forward. I hate it myself, it's basically a modified version of SG's 4-3-3. It takes any too much away from the CM in going forward. To be successful you need to take risks and leave yourself vulnerable somewhere, that being said you should play to your strengths and Tav and BBs strengths are getting down the flanks and we need to play a system that suits them, unless we sell them and change the system. not going to happen.

Beale iv been told by my source that even thoe we are keeping a eye on Cooper he is not our top target for a cb in the summer, we have put forward our interest to anderlechts rb but a lot of other clubs have also showen interest player weighing up his options. a believe this has also been confirmed by m. b.

Storm when you have a cup game against a lower league team its the perfect time to give a few youth a chance, are you telling me sands who most likely is away in the summer should be playing in front of king what has sands done to deserve a place? If the youth have to prove it why wouldn't senior players? , mabe by giving youth a chance some like divine with his performances will prove it, has devine not provine he can be trusted? Had a run of 4 games or so at lb playing well before borna came back iam sure he deserved a game today. if we can't play youth is the league as to important and they don't deserve a game in the Cup they might as well do what gilmour did and Patterson he's had more of a chance when fit at Everton. in other words I don't believe they get anuff of a chance keep hereing they have to prove it there's been a lot of senior players that don't deserve to get chance and they do.
