Gassama is good enough, don't know what people expect nowadays, he's the only player who takes on a man, he's what 21-22 we can't sign players who are the finished article, he's good enough so please would people stop getting on players backs and get behind the team.
Alot of fans are quick to question the players mentality while blasting every player on a weekly basis.

Only two issues with Gassama. 1. the footing, especially in the box - falls over a lot. 2. the end product. Skies a lot of shots IMO. He can work on both of those. Can't fault him for effort or for his skill on the ball. Tracks back too and gets the ball in six yard box when he has to.

Gassama is no better than Matondo and Sakala (best of the 3) and yet another in a long line of headless chickens - I keep waiting and praying for improvement but see little composure or consistency and the lack of numbers he currently provides is coating us dearly in final third - imo he is an impact sub at very best 🤔.

For me sakala is better than Gassama
People can big him up all they want but I'll stick to what I've said for the last year, he's not good enough and I don't think he ever will be.
Thought I'd seen improvement in him from last year aftet the first 2 games of season but he hasn't.
Tonic nobody's bashing players we're giving an honest assessment of one.

When you say Championship player, do you mean Scottish Championship? The English Championship is 10 times better quality than the SPFL and they have teams in it as good as the old firm, maybe better.
P.S I also think Gassama flatters to deceive he loses the ball too easily/ no end product.

SWS he is a very technically good young player.
He is not lightning quick but has game intelligence and composure.
I would not look into the fact he has stopped featuring from the start as often, this is mainly a decision by management to start players who have committed to the club.
As Oskar has chosen not to re-sign he has been utilized less than previously.

I thought I read somewhere that Fallenius had changed his mind about not signing .We would definitely need to get rid of a winger if we were signing him although I suppose if we don't take up Bouananis option that does create a space .
I don't know if I would class Sakala as a winger but if comparing him with the other two he was much better , he had a few goal in him and created chaos with his pace a times .
I defended Gassama all last season but even I'm sick and tired of watching him blast wild shots over the bar and falling over all the time( somebody get him boots with longer studs please ).

He's absolutely wearing g the wrong boots , he fell twice in 3 mins towards the end of the game the other night so n a good attacking position.

Fallenius would be a very underwhelming signing, 131 career matches since 2019 with only 12 goals and 14 assists! Terrible stats, there's a reason he's only valued at 400k at 25yrs old. Can't see this happening as he's not what we need and not good enough.

Like others Gassama frustrates me there is a decent player in there i like he runs at & takes on players that's what wingers should do its his decision making, final ball & end product that let's him down.

i get it that a lot don't like him, he frustrates out of me too but let's not right him off yet, he has the makings of a good player if he can improve in the final 3rd. DM seems to like him for sure.

Gassama has real ability, the key is decision making for me like many past players seems to cause the wrong pass or cross but cannot deny he's a talented player, honestly believe if we get him flying he's a league winner I really believe that.

He was clearly trying to keep his foot over the ball and keep the shots low on Saturday, also I witnessed a slip in the box at least 8 times and not all Gassama.
He is learning from the game and will come good, it would be foolish to allow him to go and replace him with someone who is another project, w3 either find a ready made first team winger or stick with Gassama, my money will be on sticking with him but he must continue to learn how to shoot and importantly , his and when to release the ball, that comes from coaching and working together,
