You would think 4 million for Kosta Nedeljkovic might be a bargain for the 20yr old. Not really played much at Villa or us and still getting looked at, if you believe what the tabloids are spouting. Stick or switch is the question?

I agree with blue. I do believe that he has a very high ceiling if he can get over injuries.

Fingers crossed mate as I thought he was going to be the attacking fullback to replace Tav. We just seem a bit heavy at rb just now and I don't see how the 3 of them survive past January mate. Just my take on it but McCrorie and Kosta can't both survive January.

Apologies here's Johnny, not meaning to sound negative but I find the post very confusing , you say he's 20 , not played a lot at villa or us but getting looked at then ask if we keep him?
In today's context if you sign a young player with potential at £4million it's regarded as buttons , I personally still see that fee as a big outlay for any club in the SPFL if he's not played a decent run of games , using Chermiti as an example I was truly astonished with that outlay from us with his background, taking away previous clubs or potential for me that money should be a guaranteed first team player , obviously no player is a guarantee success but odds are more favourable if they have a track record of a run of games
Other example for me ( apologies not sure exactly the fee ) I think it was roughly same amount , Drago , captain of partizan at 20 years old pretty sure at least 100 games under his belt leader , signing a captain of a highly pressured team where fans don't accept anything less than full effort at the same price as a young guy with potential who's not really ( no fault of his own ) been truly tested is mental , EPL prices are unbelievable.

I don't think the games played would be too different GJD . You could argue Kosta is actually the better prospect as he has played for some higher rated sides , inc Leipzig , Villa and the Serbian national side.
He has over a dozen caps which for me is a great indicator of his potential. I do agree with others though we have a full season to make this decision , wouldn't be deciding either way at the moment.

I think both Kosta and Drago will be key players for us this season.
Having a settled team and structure in place will provide a solid platform for them to gradually integrate over the course of the season.

I think Drago is absolute class. He's a fantastic mf. A lot more box to box than most thought when we signed him too.
I think he could very well get in the 11 at the expense of Raskin sooner than later as well btw.

It's definitely far too early do decide either way but I really have high hopes for Drago , not saw a lot of Kosta , on Sterlings form think it will be hard to shift him out the squad and with no Europe but it's a nice problem to have for a change.

I think we will see more of Kosta now that the Old Firm double header is out of the way. Sterling will still feature a lot but feel we can rest him more now to try and keep him fit.
