Kim min su done and dusted
20 Aug 2026 16:12:59
Looks like it was him in the pictures posted. Even the half picture of the hair looks like his hair.
20 Aug 2026 16:19:32
Read online that Girona are only willing to sell if someone meets his release clause. Cheers for the info, mate. Do you have an idea of a fee?
20 Aug 2026 16:30:09
Ten million euros.
20 Aug 2026 16:37:11
Was optimistic about this one when it broke.
20 Aug 2026 16:37:25
Cheers, John. Hopefully he's worth it.
20 Aug 2026 16:37:33
If true, you can't say the board isn't backing Del, but 10 mil for him seems a bit steep.
20 Aug 2026 16:40:59
Didn't realise he was only 20. Like the look of him, he looks Rapid.
20 Aug 2026 16:41:13
Not what I was expecting, but we back him, I guess.
Wanted someone slightly older. Far too many young boys in the team.
Our squad age continues to drop season upon season.
20 Aug 2026 16:42:02
Hopefully works out well and becomes a wee star. 🇬🇧
20 Aug 2026 16:42:13
According to SER Catalunya journalist Nil Sola via X on Thursday, Rangers are "coming in with a lot of force" as they look to sign Min-su this window.
He shares that the South Korean has an £8.6million release clause with Girona and that the second-division Spanish side would not negotiate an exit for less than that price.
20 Aug 2026 16:44:38
It's not 10 mil tho, as John said that's euros. It works out about £8.5m, which is only 500k more than Besiktas want for 29 year old Cerny.
It's also going to be paid in installments, not upfront, according to a credible account on X, who is a Girona shareholder and historian, apparently.
20 Aug 2026 16:46:32
It is steep, but to get a player as highly rated as him at 20 years of age it's probably cheaper than the going rate.
20 Aug 2026 16:48:12
Looks a player, but 8.5 mil is ridiculous for someone playing second division football in Spain last season. Hopefully he does the damage.
20 Aug 2026 16:55:32
Ayreshire, all deals are paid in instalments, bro, normally summer break intervals over the course of the said contract, mate.
20 Aug 2026 16:57:41
Plus says we're paying in instalments. So over 3 years possibly?
20 Aug 2026 17:06:46
Hope this is true!?!?! Lad looks a super player/prospect. 🙏
20 Aug 2026 17:08:02
Scotty, like that guy Celtic just signed, Hassan? £9m Spanish second div.
20 Aug 2026 17:23:43
Why do we always compare to what Celtic do?
20 Aug 2026 17:27:07
Scottyrfc, we paid £8m + add-ons for Chermiti who had never played senior football.
20 Aug 2026 17:30:35
We don't spend enough on players, folk complain. We spend 10 million euros on a guy. It's too steep. Are we ever happy about anything. 🤣🤣
20 Aug 2026 17:47:44
We must value him at the price we paid. £8.5 million is only too much for a player if he fails to achieve what's expected of him. He certainly fits the player model, and hopefully we can sell in the future for a healthy profit.
20 Aug 2026 17:50:49
Never happy, high standards, good.
20 Aug 2026 17:53:25
Orange as so many on here have a Celtic love in.
20 Aug 2026 17:57:46
Super ally, answer to that is unequivocally no.
Our fans would moan at signing Leo Messi.
20 Aug 2026 18:01:24
Fans on about 2nd division players, were the fans not wanting us to pay for a second tier player from Italy? He looks an excellent player and some pace we have been crying out for.
20 Aug 2026 18:07:10
Can see your point, guys, but Hassan was an international who done well at World Cup and had more than a year left of his contract. As for Chermiti, that was English tax, that's how I hate when we shop in that market. Just think we could have got better experience or quality for less like Driouech.
Mawanhise for 4.5/5 mil, Braga for 8.5, guys that are proven scorers in SPL. Taking a chance for an unknown in SPL, as no guarantees he will cope with physicality. But suppose high risk, high reward as mentioned. I'll be over the moon if he's a baller. Not being negative, just think it's risky.
20 Aug 2026 19:21:07
When Ehl is optimistic about a player profile, it means I'm all in on it.
Great to see the club targeting players outwith English Championship though.
20 Aug 2026 22:08:45
Exactly, Scotty, he had a few decent games at World Cup. Look, his goals and assists the last few years, it's poor.
Orange, it's a valid point comparing 2 players from the same league going for similar price.
Not sure where the love in with Celtic is with that comparison, John.
Gone are the days signing good players for 2m.
English 2nd div players going for 30m. 👍
20 Aug 2026 23:37:56
I think people are comparing Celtic because many on here have said their transfers have been very good compared to ours. Yet we try to sign a guy from the same league as Celtic for a similar price, now it's the wrong move.
Nothing to do with a Celtic love in, it's a fair comparison. Anyway, we'll always be measured against Celtic, that's just the way it is.
