WishyBear, you say if we want the lad and he meets the points you mention, we will pay the price. Now, by all accounts we bid 5.6mil for JHD and Tromso wanted 8.5mil or thereabouts. It has also been said we've seen him as a player that would bring us profit etc etc, yet JHD is not signing for us because we didn't match Tromso price, so, while we want to believe we would push the boat out for players we want, I'm yet to be convinced that is actually the case.

I think we are willing to match the value we have for a player though and not always the value the selling club may place on him. We will negotiate to see if we can reach a compromise, hence why deals take so long. 🤷

Panic we are not selling players at decent price, then panic we are holding on for their value, panic not spending much and panic we are spending too much, not football manager and add to fact other teams seasons don't start for couple of weeks and window further along the line then maybe just see what happens, must be keeping the Edds busy right enough
