I'm hearing there's a few issues behind the scenes stopping any decent level of transfer happening.
Raskin was due to return last week and there's no sign of him.
We seem to constantly sign injury prone players and have done for many years now.
We can't seem to get players who will give everything at every opportunity.
I'm hoping McInnes is the man to install a bit of heart into this squad but until we have a board who are willing to go straight for the priority position and every window we are going to struggle.
Every window has had the look of scatter gun signings all over the place, no real plan, just players mainly from England's lower leagues, and never 2 for the same position, unless its cm, then we buy 8 for 2 places.
Just a little rant to say I'm really not sure the American owners have a proper plan of action here.

Probably see a panic bid going in for Milne at Aberdeen, if they did put a bid in for Findlay, think it's just lazy by the recruitment team. I can understand McInnes going with players that he knows, but think that's just lazy management by him as well, and I don't fancy being the Hearts that play in blue.

Don't think that's fair on the owners, the lad from Partizan is a good buy imo, we've bought 4 or 5 captains and we'll slowly see the old midfielders disappear as the window goes on.
Raskin engineered his move to us and was highlighted as 'difficult' by more than one of our managers. Once he goes, expect things to move a bit speedier.

Raskin was entitled to three weeks off after World Cup. Belgium were knocked out on 10th July at night time game. So he was not due back last week. Probably due back this Monday.

The whole thing is not looking good again, another transfer window that looks underwhelming. At this moment, we are miles off any chance of winning the league and fully expect a beating in Europe, which will degrade our reputation further and find it even harder to attract players.
No light at the end of the tunnel whatsoever. An outdated formation that doesn't suit the players, poor recruitment, no style and no creativity. More of the same.

Said for a while I look je the lad Milne at Aberdeen. His numbers are very good. Loads of potential in the boy. I appreciate I'll get shot down, but just my opinion.
I'd be looking to move Gassama on and you'd likely get Tawanda Maswanhise and change too. Would be a brilliant exchange to sell him and bring him on.

Hello all, Personally would like to keep Raskin and Souttar, I think too much change in the squad makes players look worse. Add a couple of decent wingers on loan for the season. We can't build a good side the way we are doing things.
