I personally thought it would be nonsensical to spend the quoted fee on one player. We need so many positions covered, whether it be to OOC, loans or sales.
I'd rather invest that over X amount of positions and wages.

Makes sense, John. I said before, if it was my money, I wouldn't spend it on him. Would have loved us to have him, but not at the prices quoted. If we get Drag and Dahl, that would put it to bed.
As those two and Neil, we wouldn't sign if not going to be starters. And we still have Aasgaard, Chuky and Devlin. (Assuming Barron, Dio and Rasking get sold).
