It's a big step from where he has been playing. Going to have to give him time to step up, but I hope he gets decent mins and becomes a starter. All the ability in the world.

Bbj, I think that is the best I have hoped for. I don't see him coming back from Killie as a first team starter, but perhaps part of the 1st team squad. I wonder if the new contract is clever from the club.
If he doesn't progress, we trigger the extra year and get a fee for him. If he does progress, then we give a new similar contract and send him on loan again.

I think Rohl would have said goodbye to Rice and another Lewis Ferguson situation would pop up in 3 or 4 years. Too many people see a great player in there so let's hope he rips it up at Killie.
