I'd say the other can't be a World Cup player as we're waiting to see if we stay in it or not.
Personally, I find it embarrassing if we should go thru. We don't deserve it.

I was massively critical of us signing McCrorie again. I did think it was underwhelming, but I'll happily admit I fell in love with him after his interview. Now I get it. A true blue. A leader. Good luck, son.

Irvine Blue, all you have to consider is, would you rather it be this year, and we are bringing in McCrorie as a right back 'option', a guy who knows the club inside out, knows Scottish football inside out, and loves Rangers.
Or it be last year and we bring in Max Aarons to fill the same role. ? He may not be a 'superstar, big name exciting singing', but he's a guy who will certainly do a good job for us.

Max Aarons wasn't a big name signing either, I thought it was an awful signing as he was barely kicking a ball. Knows the club & Scottish inside out, or loves the club, doesn't mean anything if he's not good.
Interviews mean nothing too, til they get on the pitch. We'll not know. I just don't think he'll make us better as some think, I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

Wishy, unfortunately won't be Dan Neil, mate. ☹️ I think James Penrice will be signed by McInnes, and I absolutely wouldn't rule out us signing Cammy Devlin because we all know McInnes rates and speaks highly of Devlin, and he's out of contract. ? ??

DJB - I know it may sound mad when I said the interview made me change my mind, cause obviously his performances on the park are what counts, but it's the way he talks.
Any player that comes in and speaks from the heart somehow automatically makes me want it to really work out for them. When he said about FaceTiming his mum and dad and they were in tears, it made me soft lol.

DJB, I wasn't meaning Max Arrons was a big name singing, was merely saying that just because McCrorie isn't a 'big name' that gets folk excited, doesn't mean he'll be a bad player for us.

Some are a bit reserved on McCrorie, I have this to say.
He was really quick, if he still has that pace, then that is a step up from Tav. Much better defender in every sense than Tav.
He will help the younger guys inside him defend, as he won't be cavalier and play striker like Tav did.
He will be great in both boxes from set pieces.
He will be a leader in the dressing room.
He will have Sterling pushing him for a spot, unlike Tav who pretty much always played.
He will compliment the manager's style.
A team of men, not wee boys that get bullied like we did in 4 of our last 5 games.
