Being reported Udinese and Bologna have been regularly scouting Findlay Curtis with Wrexham and Middlesbrough also monitoring his situation. Hope it's ok to post this as someone didn't take too kindly to an earlier post of mine?.

20 May 2026 17:44:09
Curtis needs to be tied down long term.

20 May 2026 17:46:21
I'm not surprised. He's a good player. I think next season would be best served out on loan again, as imo he's not yet of the standard we should be aiming for in first team. Great attitude on him.

20 May 2026 17:49:21
Curtis will be a squad player minimum, and fits the quota for Europe, etc. Would fully expect him to be signing a new improved contract, especially if he gets minutes at the World Cup.

20 May 2026 17:54:30
Rwn, 3 of those 4 teams were interested in Barron during the last transfer window.

It's great to see interest in homegrown talent.

20 May 2026 18:06:22
He should 100 percent start, imo, if he was a Hearts player, we would be screaming to sign him.

20 May 2026 18:17:37
EHL, couldn't agree more. Serie A seems to be a league where they don't turn their nose up at the SPL/Scottish players. Not a bad thing.

20 May 2026 18:31:20
In fairness, Rwn, the poster just commented on how, as a fan, the club don't actually tell him any rumours, so was surprised that so many other clubs' fans seem to know all their transfer business. There was no criticism of the rumour, just incredulity at the fact normal fans hold so much information.

20 May 2026 18:39:46
I'm from Kilmarnock and surrounded by Killie fans. I've heard nothing but glowing reports regarding Curtis. He's been great for Killie and Killie have been great for him. I'm not surprised he's interesting other teams.

20 May 2026 18:40:43
Rwn, u post what u want mate.

Fifty six, u need to be 21 to fit quota, he's in as an academy player.

Angus, because guy does not get into does not mean others can't, petted lip imo.

20 May 2026 18:42:31
Tell you right now.

I can see Rangers selling Curtis, who will turn out a terrific player and will be worth a lot of money in a few years.

And we will stupidly ask why we sold him for buttons instead of playing him.

Boy has tone of ability and has a cracking career ahead of him and I bloody wish I could be certain it will be with us but I highly doubt it, and I hope I'm proved wrong and we keep an play him.

20 May 2026 18:59:12
10m minimum.

20 May 2026 19:00:40
Yeh and when he's successful we'll try and buy him back.

20 May 2026 19:01:55
Keep posting Rwn. Don't worry about the snowflakes on here. This is after all Rangers rumours. ??

20 May 2026 19:05:42
Angus, you obviously didn't read his response properly then, mate. His comment about Spurs was a dig, and I never said that the club had told my friend personally about transfer business, that would just be ridiculous. Anyway, thanks for your insight on the matter. We move on now surely. ?

20 May 2026 19:14:43
Rwn, of course it was a dig.

20 May 2026 20:21:23
John, it wasn't a dig by me anyway. And, was the OP on this not a dig at that poster as well? So, do only some need to play nice on here?

So, people can make their own mind up about the original heinous post it was:

"Why is it that supporting a team seems to give friends of posters on here great insight into the transfer dealings of a club?

I support Rangers and never once have the club confided in me about transfer enquiries.

Hopefully you also have a mate at Spurs who can tell us soon, let us know they want to sell us Moore."

I read that as a joke about how many people happen to have rumours from just other fans. None of it is trying to stop anyone from posting a rumour, but querying the likelihood of any club leaking so much info to what I suspect are just normal fans. Perhaps taking it as a joke might help. Some get so sensitive when they are itk.

20 May 2026 20:23:06
What did I miss?

20 May 2026 20:49:34
110% We should be keeping Curtis.
By miles one of our future stars.
Some player you sell n some you keep.
Curtis is by far a keeper.
Future Scottish international.
Direct pacy, n one of our own.
Ripped it up.
N cam bag a goal.
N will get maturer n better.

20 May 2026 21:02:30
No surprise to me that Neil McCann wanted him at Killie. He was a superb winger imo. Curtis has the attributes to be a cracking player. Would much rather have had him in the title run in that any of our current so called wingers.

20 May 2026 21:30:54
Angus, ye love an argument eh ?. Jeezo, all my original post basically said was a mate told me we inquired about a player from the team he supports. It was never suggested that any club had leaked 'so much info' as you put it.

It's just a fan from a rival club telling a friend what he had heard, no different from hearing info from a fellow bear. It was a rumour from one 'normal' fan to another, simple.

20 May 2026 21:42:18
I think we'll eventually sell Findlay Curtis Thestigno1, but it won't be just now, as I honestly think he'll play for Rangers for a few years in our first team. ? ??

20 May 2026 22:34:37
Rwn, I love a discussion on football but I also like to play fair. I wouldn't have even commented on this thread if you hadn't made the sly comment about that. So, I just then pointed out it was a joke that was made in the original thread about how many normal fans are privy to club transfer business. Thought it was reasonably funny myself and tbh I remember that and can't even remember what the rumour was now or who made the comment.

My apologies to that poster for inadvertently bringing him into this.

Not falling out with you here at all or arguing even imo (btw it takes 2 to argue) but correcting you I suppose as no-one anywhere said you can't post what you hear from anywhere. I will leave it now as tbh it is much ado about nothing as some famous boy once wrote. ?

20 May 2026 22:51:09
Rwn digs seem to be part of this site these days its large part of why people who get real info on all things Rangers don't actually post everything they hear people are incredibly snide for no reason.

20 May 2026 22:26:11
Agreed, Angus, it was much ado about nothing. Let's move on, mate. ?

20 May 2026 23:53:02
Another year with a better side in the SPL with a Jan break clause should be what we are doing.

21 May 2026 02:55:19
Personally, I'd loan him back to Kilmarnock for the full season. Neil is a good coach that understands what it will take to get the best out of him, plus, at Killie he would play lots vs sitting on the bench for some games in a higher team.

Would give him the experience he needs, including vital league experience and minutes too. That way, in 2027/28 we get a player back who is ready to go.

Some might disagree and say he is ready now, but I question if he would be given enough game time.

21 May 2026 06:49:09
Why would Rangers loan out their best wide player? I mean, that's what Curtis currently is.

Also, would Curtis himself be happy at Rangers loaning him out again to a team like Kilmarnock, when he could be playing for Rangers, or even in Italy? When Curtis goes to the World Cup, he will talk to some of the other young Scots who have made the leap to Italy, and Curtis might want that for himself.

Curtis is a rising star. He needs to be playing his football for Rangers. He should have been playing for us last season, and it was a mistake to loan him out. Yet, some of you think he should be straight back out on loan. Are Rangers blessed with an abundance of quality wide players? No. Do we want Scottish players that can perform in our league at the club? Yes.

Curtis must play for Rangers next season.

21 May 2026 08:34:05
RohlWithCheese, I don't think it was a mistake loaning Findlay Curtis out to Kilmarnock. It was the best decision for his career, and I expect us to reap the benefit of his time at Killie with McCann and Dodds. ? ??

21 May 2026 09:31:57
Findlay Curtis, a young Scotland international (full internationalist), who scored more and assisted one less than the rightfully so highly rated Mikey Moore in a team battling relegation. Swing into that, he's a Rangers kid and has been here since Jesus left Chicago.

There is no planet in which he should not be our starting RW next season and let's see if any incoming could displace him.

Best RW we've got on the books and it's not even close. If he's good enough he's old enough as they say.

Keep the boy and let him grow.

21 May 2026 10:58:28
Playing for Kilmarnock and playing for Rangers is totally different. Opposition sets up differently when playing Rangers. Not saying that FC couldn't do well, it just doesn't follow that his stats at Kilmarnock would be the same if he was playing for Rangers. We all hope they would be or even better.
