TransferMarkt have him at 0.47 goals a game with reported interest from RB Salzburg, Kaiserslautern and others. Still only 22. Not sure about him as #1 choice but could be one for the future and good backup/replacement for Danilo 'if' he goes this window.

Franko Kovacevic who was having an outstanding at NK Celje both domestically in Slovenia and Europe before his move to Ferencvaros was playing at that level last season. Certainly looks a unit at 6 ft 4. I'd be inclined to think he fits the bill of someone Danny reckons will flourish in our league. A good few others sniffing around him.

German domestic football is crazy competitive him playing in the 3rd tier would be of no concern to me. The quality is much greater than Scotland if you have watched it regularly you'd know. If Rohl wants him and we have a shred of patience he'll be fine.

Neilgd there has been a good few players started in the 3rd tier of German football :- Miroslav Klose, Thomas Muller, Joshua Kimmich, Frank Ribbery, Antonio Rudiger and some boy called Gerd Muller, some footballers have to start somewhere, the list above a just a few who turned out not to bad.

I think Naderi's size is what attracted Rangers to him. The club certainly seem to be going after big physical players. I doubt he'll be coming in to play first choice, seems more like one for the future. But with the lack of goals up front you never know. If he gets a run of games and starts scoring he could easily cement himself in the team.
One thing about tall forwards like this that can head the ball is that it works from amateur level, to elite level. You put a cross in, they get on the end of it, and head it in the net. Whenever Rangers have a set-piece they will be able to flood the opposition box with guys who are 6,4. Ironically, this is something MON use to do back in the day, and now we might subject him to it.

Don't dig the lower tiers of German football clubs from all over Germany pluck players from second and third division all the time. You hardly ever see a league one player jump up to the premier league plenty of third division players make the jump to the bundesliga.
Let's judge him on what he does in Scotland.

He was at Monchengladbach before moving down the leagues! As a lot of young Germans do to get game time/playing. Gets them properly in the shop window, it's worked for this guy as Liepzig and Hoffenheim along with a few other teams are now interested. Playing in the 3rd tier in Germany at 22 doesn't mean you're no good by any means.

I'll be honest John and aphelion. Too many on this site have built both yourselves and others up as everything that comes out your finger tips is gospel. So therefore if you don't put up a rumour of someone, and we sign them then it is portrayed as yous don't actually have any inside info. And also the same as if you do put a rumour up and it doesn't happen.
I would say this isn't your fault entirely, although saying things about being out for dinner and we will be happy soon, fuels all these people who hang on your every words fire. I think some posters need to relax on the overall "ITK" carry on that gets spouted, as this isn't doing yourselves any good. Just my opinion, please don't take it to heart.

MyStar, was talking to friend about him just yesterday! This'll probably get laughed at but I would love for us to snap him up now before his price sky-rockets! He has 2 brothers that went to uni also, 1 Cambridge the other Oxford and both rowed for their teams in the boat race! Barney Stewart was dubbed the next Fred Perry when he was younger as he was that good (at tennis).
