If he doesn't win the hearts and hibs games coming up, they surely need to look at the manager/ head coach position, as this just can't be allowed to go on any longer without seeing big improvement?.

It won't be about wins losses or draws it will be about the gap between where we are and the top. If we remain at 6 points he's safe, if this goes beyond then not so much as the games get ticked off with less time to recover. 6 at the Winter break is catcheble but that's my limit.

Really hate to say it but I can't see him beating Hearts or Hibs. Something has to click and quickly and I don't see it unfortunately.

Clubs should be reviewing the management team on a game by game basis, not when things aren't going well, it's also prudent to have a shortlist drawn up and ready incase a change is required.

I am the same as most, he feels like a train crash right now. but. there was some improvement with pace and aggression against Septic, and then to get Chementi Myovski and Cornelius in at the death, we have had a very very good window, getting shot of some dead wood at the same time.
He has to get to Xmas just because we need to stop knee jerking, however if we are way off the pace I can see him going! But we have a very very good squad now, and just need tactics to match.
Not happy with where we are right now at all but we do have the players at least.

No bother folks happy to be the brunt of the slap down lol we are to searious on here sometimes. I prob poorley explained the point i was trying to make. I was replying to coops about us loosing the next 2 games, my view is, this season could be down to how bad Celtic are and not us winning loosing or drawing if yeh get my jist so if we are close by xmas we have a chance but yes I get it, fundimently down to points lol.

On paper we have better players and I can see that. The problem I see is the players are trying so hard to impress the fans they are not playing as a team. It will take time, however RM will get sacked if we don't start winning.
Fingers crossed we get some wins under the belt and get some confidence.
I did not want RM hired, however I do not want him sacked. Bring in another manager at this stage of the season is not getting us wins. He will need time to settle and again back to wanting him sacked. ?.

Russel Martin was always on a hiding to nothing.
99% of the fans didn't want him near the job but he got it so we said let's see what happens.
Well it's pretty much gone exactly as most fans feared in being pretty a disaster.
I've said all along we've recruited well it's just the manger is not working.
The board hired in and completely ignored our feelings on the matter so don't want to look foolish so will try give him time.
But surely that time is running out.
A loss or draw to hearts and go 8or9 points behind after 5 games is unforgivable.
And if we lose to hibs and out the league cup first round then I have no idea how they can continue with him in charge.
I was open to be proved wrong on Martin but it hasn't happened nor looks like it will.
Imo he'll be gone before Xmas but who knows i could be wrong and he turns it around.

Alex of course the board ignored the fans. Those who own the club make the decisions, if it goes wrong they can hold people accountable and replace them for that decision. Did you expect them to run a poll amongst the fan base … how do they then hold the fan base accountable? NO board listens to fan bases over the hiring of Managers and player recruitment or we'd be a bigger bin fire ….

Let's consider that sellic no great and Brendan looking like packing it in first chance .
Thelwell signed the players and is happy to see Martin carry the can, so he needs to go first if things don't improve or get even worse.
Aarons, Rothwell, appalling signings Aasgard we don't know yet and we must await the half price bargain Chermiti .
Plus we have a cartoon character as chief exec, so lots to ponder and owners to consider.

Peopke think we improved vs Celtic i don't think we did they were just off the back of 120 gruelling minutes in khazakstan and journey back deflated and tired and we still couldn't beat them on our own patch or muster much in the way of shota on goal i really fail to see how that's progress considering how we played against them last year.
If martin really did watch all games last year you would think bajrami would have made euro squad as he showed up well in Celtic games and some euro games.
