Looks like UEFA sent Rangers a warning about the Wage bill.
12 Nov 2024 12:28:18
More good news ?♂️.
12 Nov 2024 12:30:18
A football finance expert warned them no uefa.
12 Nov 2024 12:37:51
Apparently the email was full of wee laughing face emoji's as even Uefa couldn't believe the wages were paying for that quality of player.
12 Nov 2024 12:49:35
Was that not a "financial experts" rambling on the clickbait sites? Not seen any Official UEFA warning or correspondence any where.
12 Nov 2024 12:56:31
Just be more nonsense as Rangers are dealing with things that UEFA are looking for.
12 Nov 2024 13:12:47
Not sure where you are getting that from. Only thing being mentioned is some ‘football finance expert’ claiming that Rangers may be close to coming onto UEFA’s radar regarding their wage bill going by our latest accounts. Which by all accounts is something the club is already aware of, hence the wage cutting going on. Nothing anywhere saying we’ve been sent a warning from UEFA?
12 Nov 2024 13:18:46
Fraser tell me u r not fallen for click bait rubbish.
12 Nov 2024 14:06:10
Glasgow World it was John?.
12 Nov 2024 16:53:02
Yes Fork but if he had read the actual article he would have seen that at no point did it say that UEFA have said anything at all to us.
12 Nov 2024 16:59:40
Cheers fork, as my star points out the club are dealing with this hence the significant player salary cuts we are seeing, I suspect more to follow over next 18 months.
12 Nov 2024 17:42:58
No they didn't.
12 Nov 2024 17:48:25
Just let James Taylor deal with UEFA, I’m sure his Dad thought him how things work in there….
12 Nov 2024 17:49:41
I know Gers78? no worries John?.
12 Nov 2024 18:37:37
Probably one of the many Celtic sites that have never written about their own club, every thumbnail the have has our name on it , none of us needed a so called finance expert to tell us about the wage bill and this being the international break there will be plenty of more stories getting spouted.
12 Nov 2024 19:27:34
Can’t see it given the wage reductions made recently.
12 Nov 2024 23:11:30
Forecast drop in turnover for next financial year means there's still further reductions required.
Things are going to get uglier and it's all down to the wild decision to back Beale.
13 Nov 2024 06:58:37
Sounds worrying EHL, we might be struggling to make top 4 at this rate.
13 Nov 2024 10:21:46
Is the turnover forecast to drop? We should never be out of the top 2 in Scotland over the course of a season. Our turnover is like 60% higher than both of theirs combined. It's ridiculous to suggest that anything financial is a reason to anywhere other than at least second place.
13 Nov 2024 11:32:52
Both of theirs I meant Hearts and Aberdeen. Assuming Hearts perform like normal and would be in the top 4.
13 Nov 2024 12:53:50
Yeah, turnover is forecast to drop for two reasons.
Reduction of revenue from Ibrox works.
This is the first season in 4 years we've not had in excess of £10m from player sales.
13 Nov 2024 13:11:46
There are a few one off costs in this years accounts and the wage bill reduction isn`t included so provided we don`t start anymore unneeded building projects we should have better results. It won`t have the sale of The Albion either but we keep reading about improved sponsorship deals so that should help the finances and hopefully the team can make the knockout rounds of the Europa as well.
