Watched the 3-0 highlights about 300 times now, but did anyone notice when Kelsy scores and runs over to the corner after his goal n stops and Sterling takes him under his wing and walks straight into the fans basically saying come on son let's enjoy this. Absolute class.

Sterling has been superb for McInnes this season and is a quality right back and best in Scottish football for me 👌 He's the best one on one right back in the league bar none 👌🇬🇧.

Coops from what we've been told on here, and I've no reason to disbelieve it, Sterling was almost away in summer but clubs like derby and was it Swansea? There were 3 or so , wouldn't pay the £1m we wanted for him.
How silly that now looks on there part.
If clubs came in for him in January what value do you put on him at that time? , now knowing he's going to likely have 18 months left of as we have an option.

Personally, I feel if Sterling keeps up his levels and fitness he's playing himself into a position where it would be foolish to sell him , very important year ( like always ha ) but it's imperative we win this year , Sterling and a settled defence is vital to our league hopes , been tremendous, let's hope he keeps it up and defence / team grows and grows with the passing games.

The problem is if we activate his year clause and he just sits tight again.

I've no idea what Sterling's salary is but we would need to pay a decent fee and wages to get anybody as good so as long as he stays fit we should be looking at extending his deal .
We need to keep our best players season on season if we can and so far he has shown to be our best right back, and , as somebody said , the best right back in the league by miles.

Wslgers, bigger problem is getting a better rb coming to Scotland, Sterling has been superb this season, he remains fit (not far from being fit a year) he will only improve.

it amazes me, we all shout when we can't get rid of players due to salaries that we shouldn't be paying them inflated costs. now we are saying paying it. wish us fans would make our minds up.

Usually those players are s**** though geesadodothat , Stirling playing great and injury free so would rather he ran contract down than sell him , think the vast majority would of sold him nearly every summer just for his injury issues and most of them would keep him now , usually common sense that changes fans minds.

I never shout about getting rid of players because of their salaries because I never know what salaries players are on and the details of their contracts .Some players are on big wages because they have been signed for no transfer fee and their signing on fee is spread over their contract .Whatever they are on , we must have given it to them so as long as they are playing and earning it then that's not a problem for me.
Its the ones on big wages who don't do enough that I get mad at especially as that big wage makes it hard to get rid of them . Even them we agreed to the salary when we signed them so its our own fault.

Sterling is on something like 22k weekly, best rb in our league right now, players will be on more, league to be won why would we think about selling him, I read he's contacted until 2028, signed up for another year last summer, don't know if what i read was true though.

Sterling proves his fitness should not be leaving in my opinion. More than worth his wages if he stays fit. He made a mistake off the park but I believe in second chances.
