For me, the defence picks itself for Sunday.
After his early season blips, Fernandez looks steady enough again.

The midfield is the issue.
Will he go 2 - Neil ( who looks like he has finally turned a corner in form ) alongside Raskin?
Or will he go 3 which would mean either Chukwuani or Dragojevic.
I would stick with the 2 as I've liked our front 4 combinations this season.
I would expect the front 4 to be the same as against St Mirren:-
Buonanani Kelsy Gassama
Naderi
That makes us solid at the back.
Steady in the middle.
Pace, work rate and strength up top.

I think Minsu comes in for Kelsy just now, and I have a feeling he'll play devlin instead of Neil for this one.

MPH, I think we have to play 3 in midfield we need to match them in there we can't allow McGregor to pin it about unchallenged, i'd play Drago in there for his youthfulness and energy plus he gives us a goal threat.

I think with DM saying Miovski knows the Scottish game, he will start with him on Sunday. I also think he will start with two strikers. One playing as a 10.

He won't play Devlin because apart from the fact he's not better than Neil, McInnes knows that the refs would love nothing more than to send Devlin off. I think Minsu comes in for Kelsey and occupies the flank more than centre and possibly Drago comes in for Buonani to give us a proper 3 in the middle.
If we go 2 v 3 in the middle against them it'd be quite logical that we'd lose the game imo.

BT, Celtic will be 4231 with McGregor and Baur cm's, McGregor is going back the way now, I'd really fancy our chances with Raskin and Niel up against them.

Min-Su in at 10 for his pace & dribbling ability, have him stay forward & have Naderi take care of McGregor. I'd be tempted to start Drago & have him smash some shots from distance as Celtic struggled against that.

Finally turned the corner after his 300 minutes Mph? because that's all he played before the Motherwell and St Mirren game, patience is always needed with all new players, but will never happen from the majority of our fans.

I think that is the team, MPH. Only concern is how Neil and Bouanani react to their first OF game. If they can perform, I think we win.

He was rank rotten previously, MyStar. He even dropped him from your starting 11 for Aberdeen - so where was your patience?
Dropped, substituted, left out by the manager for those reasons.
Still got a long way to go top prove his worth after only 2 ( possibly 1 1/2 ) decent games when he wasn't good enough the previous 9.
And we didn't need patience with Makhanyu who hit the ground running.
Or with Bouanani who looked decent on his debut.
Or with Minsu.
Or Penrice.
Or even from Yokota's first performances.

The key to beating Celtic is still to upset their rhythm by not letting McGregor dictate, not sure how we do that with only two in midfield, possibly Minsu at No10 being told to get round about him when we don't have the ball.
I think we may start with a three in midfield to match up at the start. I would hope then its Dragojevic who joins the other two not Devlin who is an accident waiting to happen.

I believe we have to show patience with new and young player.
Nevertheless, my issue with Fernandez is that I think he "zones out" from time to time and he cannot do that against them or we will not get away with it.

I think at home we'll go 442 and take the game to them.
I think away we'll go 433 and look to counter.
The one thing that DM has been drilling in to the team, that's driving him bonkers, is that we have no one willing to disrupt the game.
When Falkirk, Motherwell and St Mirren settled and got in to a bit of a rhythm we sat back in our shape and let them do it.
We cannot do that against Celtic as they will pin us back and do some real damage.
We need players willing to commit tactical fouls, to get in players faces, to get the crowd involved - we need to be horrible to play against, and right now, we're the nicest team in the league.

EHL assume that was behind his decision to bring on Devlin on weds. I was surprised when he came on vs St Mirren as I felt we needed someone to get their foot on the ball and bring us back into possession with a cool head. What you're saying makes sense now.

Its something DM has been trying to change since preseason, we are very passive.
I'm sure he's referenced tactical fouls as few times in post match interviews, especially during early games when we got hit on the counter.
