Just thinking.isnt it a bit mental that Chermiti, Fernandez and Raskin are the three most valuable assets in the history of the club by a mile yet the majority of us would be neither up nor down if they left..probably slightly up if anything!

I don't think we're getting big bucks for Fernandez, I might be wrong, but I think he's a Championship player at best. I couldn't even see him getting in the Spurs team just now. Okay, he's likely to get in the Spurs team. 😁😁

We are only like that cause they are part of teams that win nothing. But if we had more players with Raskin and Chermiti's quality, we would win a lot more and people would be more gutted when they leave.

Dado, he's worth whatever the highest bidder wishes to pay.
The boy has class, he's still rough around the edges, no doubt. But maybe one of these top clubs thinks they could polish him and turn him into a right good centre half.
If they're willing to pay, then I'm sure we'll be willing to sell.

Easily Stevie G, I agree, mate. 👍 Barry Ferguson in this day and age would have been worth a fortune in a transfer fee. 👌 There are midfielders nowhere near as good as Baz down in England going for astronomical sums of money, so the mind boggles to what Baz would go for.

Reality police here, Laudrup, Gazza & even Fergie playing in a team who haven't won anything for years, & Scottish football being where it is, we would not get offered 50 mill for any of them, let's be honest.
It seems 20 -25 mill is the top end for anyone leaving Scotland.
But oh wouldn't it be great to turn the clock back & see what those teams would do nowadays.
We can always dream.

Coops, absolutely mate, he was a better player than ones going now for £100m.
He bosses every top club and mf in Europe in a short period.
I believe at the time the Kaiserslautern manager bid £15m for him after he bosses them.
Mattheuas had him by the throat one night as well, cause Barry had him in his back pocket.
He was top drawer. World class.

Think it was actually Leverkusen and not Kaiserslautern, manager name was Christophe Daum or something like that? Had a moustache and great hair, if I remember correctly.
Obviously he played PSV, Bayern, Parma, Galatasaray and more I'm forgetting.
Think the only time he didn't boss the game was against Valencia, when we got schooled by Mendieta and Killy Gonzalez over both legs.
Best performance I've ever seen from a mf player was Mendieta at Ibrox, watching him live was an experience u don't get again.
