Thought we were decent tonight, some of the one touch stuff was nice to watch at certain points. What pleases me even more is that we weren't really troubled at the back until we went down to 10. Penrice energy is fantastic, excellent delivery, makhanya looks a steal, neil was better, big Naderi ran himself into the ground, got the winner, chuki was good again. Honestly not sure that was a red, if Gassama and drago goals go in which they should have the tie is over, but like I said last week we need a little bit of luck in these situations, everything seems to go against us just now, like the ref calling that as a penalty, if it wasn't offside, which was a howler from the ref, makhanya just to strong for the boy.
Onwards and upwards, really excited about kosta and this new Korean boy, think they'll make us much stronger.

I was thinking the same, bb4, when our luck turns and we get all these little things going our way, it'll be happy days.

When you see the reply, it looks awful and was a red in my opinion. The thing that's frustrating BB4 is I don't actually think he's tackling the boy, he's trying to turn him and draw the foul in his favour. He looks like he's planting his leg but instead makes contact with the defender.
I suspect he'll get reds this season for silly tackles, I honestly don't think that was one of them.
Fair play to the team, shown character to win the game. I'm not sure under teams / management of the past we would have.

It's a stone wall red and don't even know why it's up for debate. If it was other way round, everyone would agree it was a red. Just fans being tickled.

It's a red, but you'd think he was a murderer on here, not intentional at all. Stupid and needless red that allowed Jablonec a bit of leeway to try n get the draw.

So a red card for a challenge involving physical contact is determined by excessive force that endangers the safety of an opponent. He was trying to get his foot other side of ball to shield it, bit like the one Roofe was sent off for, and everyone disagreed.
Slowed down, his studs are up, and his leg is straight, which is why it looks so bad, but not sure the level of contact was excessive.

My rule of thumb, if it was the other way, I would have been calling for a penalty and a red card.
He tried to turn his man and made an ass of it. No malice.

It looked bad in slow motion but in normal time he was clearly trying to block the ball. Given where his studs landed, though, I'm not surprised the ref gave it.
