If Rohl signs Naderi for RBS would anyone take Hardie or Ure back?
22 Jun 2026 10:04:42
Robbie Ure possibly. Looks like he has come on a fair bit since leaving us and I'm pretty sure he has made his feelings clear that he wants to play for our first team one day so. Yeah I'd take Ure for sure.
22 Jun 2026 10:49:15
I would take Ure back, lad has really kicked on, and if it's to be number 3/4 choice striker, then why not.
22 Jun 2026 11:36:51
Why would any young player that is playing regularly and scoring for fun, leave for 3/4th place in the team, that ain't happening.
22 Jun 2026 11:40:07
I can't see Ure coming back to sit on a bench. The numbers he is putting in, he should be viewed as a possible Chermiti replacement. He has a host of English Championship clubs tracking him and interest on the continent, so will not be short of options.
22 Jun 2026 11:41:13
Give it a rest, will you, Star. You're becoming laughable now. We were offered a choice, and I stated Ure as 3rd or 4th choice, as he isn't getting in front of Chermiti or Shankland.
Hypothetical scenario, so give it a rest, as you're boring me, man.
22 Jun 2026 11:54:46
Bigbluejim, lol man, but hoof ball, it's laughable, give yourself a break, man. ????
Why would any young footballer go from scoring for fun, then be 3rd or 4th choice, deary dear man. ?
22 Jun 2026 11:59:00
For my money, I think Star has asked a very pertinent question here!
22 Jun 2026 12:01:31
30 games 11 goals last year isn't scoring for fun, granted he has started this year better, but this is in a league that is a lower standard than ours.
As stated, it's hypothetical, so get a grip, please.
22 Jun 2026 12:10:56
Take your own advice, Bigbluejim.
22 Jun 2026 12:14:39
Ure has played 15 games this season, 12 goals, 3 assists.
22 Jun 2026 12:30:59
My point was these are 2 players that would class as club trained for the UEFA squads.
I could see Ure being a rotation player so for me I would bring him home if we were needing another striker.
22 Jun 2026 13:30:40
Nope, Hardie has just had a season at Wrexham where he wasn't scoring and got loaned out, and although Ure had a decent season, isn't he playing in the lower league in Sweden?
22 Jun 2026 13:45:15
Ure playing in the top Swedish league now, wsl.
22 Jun 2026 14:02:42
Ryan Hardie? No way. Ure maybe.
22 Jun 2026 14:05:48
Sirius are not in the lower leagues of Sweden. They are sitting top of the top league, undefeated in Sweden. Hampus Skoglund and Silas Andersen, who we have been linked with, have both recently come up against Robbie Ure this season, and both have been on the losing side because Robbie Ure has scored winners against both of their respective clubs in the land of ABBA and lava lamps.
If Skoglund and Andersen have been scouted recently, as had been suggested, I fail to see how Robbie Ure didn't also catch the eye given his current form & background.

European football. ✅
Winning stuff. ✅
Bigger club. ✅
Boyhood club. ✅
More money. ✅
Some of the same parameters above are why you are adamant Neil will reject EPL / EFL to come to Rangers, MyStar.
22 Jun 2026 14:28:26
Irrelevant as Naderi is a Rangers player with as much or more potential than R.Ure. He won't be for sale. More likely Mivovski and Danilio will be sold or loaned out, if we're after Braga or any others.
22 Jun 2026 14:33:04
Mph, big difference again, Dan Niel wouldn't be 3rd or 4th choice.
22 Jun 2026 14:34:59
Winning stuff?. ?
22 Jun 2026 14:39:39
Ure is also younger than Naderi and scoring goals at a higher level than Naderi had played before joining Rangers.
I also think developing alongside Shankland and Chermiti for a season would help him.
22 Jun 2026 14:40:40
All I'm meaning with Ure, why when playing regularly and scoring for fun, move on and not be starting games as regularly, he's still a young man and his experience he's getting now will only improve him, signing for a club and not starting as regularly won't help him.
22 Jun 2026 15:32:23
In response to some of the posts, it doesn't really matter what's said on here, it'll be what Derek thinks that will count. But, it's good to see a bit of banter flying around, that is, after all, what this section is all about.
22 Jun 2026 15:54:56
Ambition?
22 Jun 2026 16:03:10
All based on a hypothetical scenario. Not a case of will we or won't we sign either of them, it's a question asking for opinions of the site.
22 Jun 2026 16:07:00
Sign Maswanhise from Motherwell (impressive stats).
22 Jun 2026 16:13:25
For a country of our size and limited talent pool, going to the World Cup should be an adventure where we should go for it in every game, unleash our forwards, play the likes of Gannon Doak, Curtis, Shankland, and at least put a smile on most faces.
I would far prefer watching a brave and honest Scotland losing 5-4 than this turgid muck we were presented with right now. Getting out of the group using these awful tactics (and players) only to get gubbed in our very next game means nothing.
22 Jun 2026 16:43:26
Better picking another national team, with Clarke as manager, you won't see that, ever.
22 Jun 2026 20:21:34
I wanted Hardie back about 2 seasons ago. Would have been a great 3rd choice and around 1million.
