3 year deal for the manager.
Hopefully two other players announced this week.
Del not my first choice but will be backing him all the same.
Look forward to the madness bears.

It's now about looking forward and seeing who Derek McInnes is going to sign for Rangers now in this rebuild. ? Absolutely right behind Del and his backroom team to make us the best team in Scotland once again. ?

Just back from Boston, so not been following this as much. A wee but gutted Rohl is away, but he wants out, then so be it.
Not a big fan of McInnes, tbh, and not particularly excited by the prospect of him being our manager, especially after turning us down previously.
He hasn't won much, but yes had a good season last season, although he still won the same as us.
I'll get over it and will be 100% behind him and the team. The manager churn must stop and maybe it stops with him.

Think DM is most people's choice - if a poll was done I would think it could be as high as 80% between are we happy with DM as manager Yes or No. ?? Although some wanted Gerrard, there was also a lot not keen - think we have best man for the job. ??

Gutted Rohl is away! Personally, think this is a superb outcome for us. The boy clearly couldn't handle the pressure and was way, way out of his depth when it mattered. Good riddance, I say.

Walter, so you will be happy to support Naismith if he accepts the role.

Locher, and by that logic, no manager will ever succeed: a) if they lose games and b) if they fail to win every title.
Luckily enough, Jurgen Klopp (if reports are true) and Salzburg think differently, and are willing to spend £2M to back that judgement.
Think there might be as much pressure at an RB club from the management. Now, the fans might be more realistic than here, granted, and know sometimes we don't win everything.

John, you have a great memory.
15 Jun 2026 18:14:58
Baxter, a year not that long ago, he was very close to getting an assistant job last July.
He is a vet good coach.
15 Jun 2026 18:26:55
I will always support and want anyone who's employed at Rangers to do well ? I don't think Naismith will be back at Rangers as part of Derek McInnes's backroom team.
15 Jun 2026 18:50:34
John, I think we have to support the best available coaching team, he's highly regarded as a coach, however we may feel about what he did. If we are successful and winning, it will fade into insignificance.
15 Jun 2026 19:05:20
Cool Coops, him and McInness very tight.
Coully, I'd take him as a coach in a minute.
15 Jun 2026 19:30:50
Locher, how can you be both gutted he's away and think its good riddance. Very confusing post.
15 Jun 2026 19:27:36
So John does the info you've received say that stevie naismith is coming in as part of derek mcinnes's backroom team mate ?
15 Jun 2026 20:05:30
John, I agree 100%. Naismith is a decent coach, talks well and I would be happy for him to join up with DM.
15 Jun 2026 20:22:51
Walter, where do I say Naismith coming to Rangers? I was just thinking of your post when u said he was a rat.
Did u actually see his post where he says he was nearly here last year, but probably a good thing he never got a job?

I hope he doesn't bring the sleeping tablet back. He knows what he's talking about, coaching wise, but Jeezo that dour monotone voice of his. Btw, nothing to do with his "interview" as he was put on the spot and badly advised. We all make mistakes.
