I see Christian Eriksen had a collapse in Denmarks friendly, he got up after treatment and walk off to a standing ovation, the Doctor said his ICD done what it was supposed to do, he's recovering well, think it's time to walk away for him, health is your wealth.

Fork or shock him back to live. As u say he needs to retire now.

Fork, I agree. Coach now in difficult position as well. Does he pick him for games knowing it could happen again?
07 Jun 2026 20:12:03
Agreed, guys, he was and is a fantastic player, I would not want to see his family deprived of a lifetime with him for football.

He's got nothing left to prove after a stellar career, thoughts are with him, Sabrina and the kids.
07 Jun 2026 20:39:04
I agree, guys, and Erikssen should retire and enjoy his life with his family. ? He absolutely should be thinking of his health and the worry for his family. ?

Just discussing this with friends
He needs to retire - health more important than football.

Remember being close to tears the first time it happened fork, honestly thought he was gone that day. He definitely needs to retire.

Scared the bejeesus out of me that day, it's horrific to see, having one is bad enough but to see someone drop like that, just oooft.

Ano Fork, especially a super fit athlete, just shows it doesn't discriminate. Was devastated for his family to witness it, as I knew how I was feeling, so couldn't imagine how the family felt.

Any brush with mortality is a shocking experience, lads. Let's just be glad the cardio-defibrillator he was fitted with did its job, and that there are some very clever people around to move modern medicine forward.

His ICD is doing its job. My father has one and it happened to him twice on the bowling green. It's giving him a jolt, basically, as he needed it. He should retire now, nothing else to prove, and is a wonderful footballer.

Oh no, not again!
What a horrifying moment it was that day.
I still see images of him collapsing and saying "He's dead" because he was. Thankfully, by some miracle he was brought back, thank God.
For it to have happened again, is awful and hopefully he'll make a decision which is in the best interest of his health.

Agreed, smashing player, but he needs to retire.
08 Jun 2026 06:21:22
All heartfelt messages regarding Eriksen from each and everyone of us, and all in agreement that he should retire, and hopefully he now does. ? God bless him, his family and friends. ?

Hope your dad is doing well with his ICD fitted storm. ?

He surely must step away from playing. He could easily get a non football playing role. He has had an amazing career & has a lot to offer off the pitch to keep him involved in the game. Once would be enough for most. Twice is playing roulette.

He is Coops, thanks for the comment. As John said on another post, without it they wouldn't be here.
