Leicester City interested in Russell Martin. Oaft!
07 Jun 2026 10:36:36
Poor Leicester fans if they end up with him!
07 Jun 2026 10:49:07
The thing is, guys, he'll probably do well as Leicester manager, as his level is English Championship, English League One. ? He done well with Southampton and Swansea. ?
07 Jun 2026 11:22:53
I'm sure it'll go swimmingly. ??
07 Jun 2026 12:09:22
Supposedly EFL players have the ability to understand instructions and play the way a manager wants, so he will be fine. ?
07 Jun 2026 12:25:16
I wouldn't mind swimming lessons with Lucy. ?

With the expansion of the play off in England, managers like him will probably look good because, as long as u can stay within touch with middle of the table, u can still make it. So there's no pressure to get results.
07 Jun 2026 13:06:56
Kaiser, not sure that Leicester would be happy with mid table though with the amount of money they spend. You are right that a lot of teams and their owners would be though.

I see Martin still getting it in the neck. Time to get off his back. He tried. He failed here. It's not easy. Hope it works out for him as he's a human being with feelings and family. Guy just wants a job for xxxx sake! Rant over.
07 Jun 2026 14:00:58
I hope it works out for him. It didn't at Rangers. He isn't a bad guy.
07 Jun 2026 15:17:26
I agree with both Waltersguitar and Storm because it didn't work out for Russell Martin when he was our Rangers head coach, doesn't mean he's a bad guy. ? He's a human being and has feelings like us all, and I hope he does well with Leicester City. ? I wish the guy no ill and wish him all the best. ?
07 Jun 2026 14:43:01
Frankly, I hope he crashes so hard that he is seen for the fraud that he is. I can't believe there are people here defending him
07 Jun 2026 15:18:20
I agree, SWS, I think Martin will do a job for them.
07 Jun 2026 15:34:51
Well said Coops/Storm/Walter.
The way we dehumanise people who we deem not to be a success.
07 Jun 2026 16:06:19
Actually, I was being critical of our players who were reported not to understand his tactics. Despite lower league team players in England being able to.
07 Jun 2026 16:29:22
I'm certainly not defending his failure at Rangers DTB, but that's it for me he failed at our club doesn't make him some sort of ogre or bad person. ? There's a difference of defending someone, mate, and not being nasty to them. ? No need for the name calling to him, and like I say, he's a human being with a family who has feelings just like we all do, and I wish Russell Martin no ill.
It's football for God's sake, he didn't do anything bad to hurt any of our families or whatever. ?
