@Discussion Page
Another post to start arguments, so congratulations ?
You start far too many threads like this and it's been going on for a long time now.
Honestly, I'm surprised by some folk buying into it.
Do you actually know the OP Fork?
personally?
Because I don't but all I ever see is the same stuff getting posted every few days and the exact same thing happens every time:
Argument after argument after argument.
So let's be very clear here.
Am I bigoted?
Am I xenophobic?
Am I anti-foreign?
Am I alienating or discriminating against anyone because I question football decisions, managers or recruitment?
No.
And neither are the vast majority of posters this is clearly aimed at.
There's a massive difference between genuine discrimination and football fans debating competence, standards, mentality, recruitment and performances at Rangers.
People are frustrated because we've failed repeatedly for years. Fans question players, managers and recruitment from ALL backgrounds and nationalities. That is football debate not hatred.
Trying to portray supporters as terrible people every few days because they disagree with certain appointments, signings or opinions is becoming manipulative and exhausting.
So instead of vague accusations aimed at the whole forum, name the posters you're talking about.
Who exactly is supposedly racist, xenophobic or discriminatory?
Because throwing around accusations like that without directly backing it up is bang out of order.
@Ed's — people are basically implying this forum allows widespread discrimination and hostility amongst supporters. I personally don't believe that for a second, but this constant cycle of divisive posting has become absurd now.
At some point this has to come to a head because it's doing nothing except dividing supporters and poisoning the forum as we have just witnessed tonight!
Even respected posters are fed up. EHL leaving says enough on its own. People are tired reading the same outrage-bait every few days.
The forum was far better when people debated football without constant moral lectures and attempts to paint fellow Rangers supporters as horrible people.
I genuinely think the OP knows exactly what they're doing at this stage.
And the sad thing is it's working.
So well done ? ??.

Stig, I don't always read your whole posts cause I've got bad attention problems, and they can be too long so I scan.
I read that whole thing, mate.
I really like Aphe as a poster and a person, I need to say he's a thoroughly good guy.
But I agree with every word of your post.

Good guys don't start pointless arguments.
08 May 2026 06:55:58
What's happened here, guys, because obviously I've missed something ?

Very heartfelt, well written post, Thestigno1. ? As you know, my pal, I always like your posts. ?

There's few on here that are best ignored.

Stingo, cracking post and spot on. ?

It's a clash of cultures maybe it's simple as that.
Scandinavians have different sense of humour, most countries don't get Scottish people mate, out sarcasm and dark sense a humour is over most people heads.
Likewise the way we speak does the same so, we may seem aggressive or abusive when simply stating our opinions.
Aphe isn't wrong or a bad guy he's just taking everything wrong.
I really really wish he would understand that as it's the gods honest truth.
Nobody with any worth on this site is saying anything against him.
We're not going to change as it's in our culture and Aphe is struggling as how he feels is in his culture.
Scandinavians struggle with sarcasm and British sense of humour in my experience.
Ur a valuably member of this site. Behave man

Totally disagree with you, Stig and you have come out with a post to attack Aphe without naming him. Have the balls to name him.
Ehl isn't leaving because of Aphe, that is pretty clear, which your post doesn't say.

Perhaps what people need to do is read others posts and try to think how they hold that opinion. Not saying agree with it, but just understand it.
So we aren't where we are because our players and manager aren't Scottish or British. We are where we are because they aren't good enough, or for some reason all of the background noise causes the club to be this way.
So just imagine if you weren't Scottish how it would feel if foreign managers and players were being blamed for the current state of the team. I think that is what gets to Aphe a lot of the time. Is it truly racist or xenophobic? Well, the law says that depends on the person who is hearing it. Personally I just think it is total crap brought on by our many years of failure. However, I think the failure is being caused by constant manager and player clear outs.
I don't always manage it, but put yourself in others' shoes to try to understand why they react that way. The petty point scoring regularly by posters towards Aphe won't help his psyche anyway, and then the negative posting towards his peers doesn't help to improve that.
So, he perhaps uses words to describe it that you agree with, but there is a bit of truth in it, surely. We don't need a specific nationality of anything, we just need success to get all this bickering to go away. It will come more speedily if we all pull in the same direction and give it time. Whether any other manager succeeds more quickly at another smaller (or even bigger) club is irrelevant, as we don't know how that translates to the pressures of Rangers.
So you don't have to agree, but let's at least try to understand and perhaps accept others' views.

How many nationalities post on this site?
How many have a problem?
It's that simple.
Storm, I won't name him as I don't want to even talk to the person. He's going on ignore now, won't give satisfaction even mentioning the name, it's my choice.
Had enough of the crap.
So I will enjoy not seeing him post any more.
Feel free, if you feel you need to ignore me, I won't be upset.
Best way forward now to start using ignore function.

Outstanding post, Angus. ? Well written as well.
08 May 2026 11:26:03
Angus, see even if we get success we will still argue mate.

Listen, it's not about what you say or what you mean, it's about how it's received. Many people try to word their posts to be mindful of how it may be received, which is great. Many, however, word them to purposely wind others up. I have a brother, who exactly does the same; he takes great pleasure in winding people up.
For people that get pleasure out of it, it is pretty sad. Be mindful of what you say. Understand that people have different opinions and respect the same, and we surely are adult enough to have discussions without the need to be jumping on the band wagon to attack people who have differing opinions.
Stig, you say you are fed up with it all, but then create another post doing the exact same that you are complaining about.
As Angus says, maybe if we were winning on the park we wouldn't all be complaining and bickering, but I for one enjoy this site and the input everyone has. But nastiness and the directness of insults from some posters is not right.
Try to understand why others might be offended by posts. This Scottish v foreign is a big no no for me. We have had many good Scottish players and many good foreign players so is it not easier to say we just need players who will give it all. Being Scottish makes us unique for sure but doesn't make us better at everything.

As I've said before, we won't always agree all the time, as the site would become boring. But lately there's been a few newish posters having a go at the older ones (not age related). I hope that the older ones continue to post, as most of the time the information they give us is usually good. ?? ??

Great post, Angus. I agree fully with your sentiments.
Should fellow posters be labeled as discriminatory/racist because they are asking the club to look at the local markets?
Should that label be marked against people for giving an opinion about players they don't rate?
Being sensitive, articulate, and respectful works both ways.
I'll be reading the group, but mostly be taking a break from posting.
