Nothing against west ham but for our chances of keeping Mikey Moore for another season on loan, that's a good result for us last night with spurs beating villa and for now out the relegation zone ?We all know there's a much greater chance we can keep Mikey Moore for another season if spurs can manage to stay up ?

04 May 2026 09:39:01
Really don't think Moore will be with us next season, hope I am wrong, but can't see it.

04 May 2026 09:52:59
I'm not a gambler, but I'd say it's highly unlikely that we see Moore again next season.

04 May 2026 10:11:19
You might well be correct, guys, but I think there's a better chance of Moore being at Rangers again next season, if Spurs stay up. ???

04 May 2026 10:11:51
Tottenham remaining fixtures.

Leeds ( H)
Chelsea (A)
Everton ( H)

Outside chance of avoiding relegation, which will give us a better chance of keeping Moore, but who knows.

Why would we go with another loan though? I get that we all love him, but surely it's better getting someone in who is our own player, that isn't just a cost.

Let him be a nice memory, but let's move on to our players.

04 May 2026 11:00:22
Ehl, I am a gambler, and would agree, the odds are stacked against us getting Moore back again next season, which is a pity.

Enjoy him while he is here and pray he can leave on a real high.

Moore has been great, can't deny that, but I'm pretty fed up of us relying on loans to fill 1st team slots. I'd rather we have our own players 1st team, with a couple of loans/youngsters to make up the rest of the squad. I'd much prefer marquee signings to actually be Gers players rather than loans.

Moore, for me, is going back a much better & experienced player than when he came, & financially we get nothing from that. I would like that trend to stop. We've done that for years, Sima, Cerny, etc. Obv not easy getting the right lads, I get that, but surely that's the problem that needs fixed, isn't it? ??‍♂️

So r we saying if Spurs stay up Moore not good enough to be in their sqybut we take him.

We will always be a top six team and not a league winner with that mentality.

Also, imo many want to right Curtis off, develop our own.

04 May 2026 12:11:34
I certainly wouldn't be saying that, John. He played around 20 games for them at 17 years old, 1st or 2nd top scorer in the history of Tottenham.
On Curtis, I think he'll get plenty games for Rangers next season, great he's getting experience with Kilmarnock now.

04 May 2026 12:16:13
No, John, if Spurs go down then he will be used by them in the Championship. If they stay up, then he will be allowed on loan again, hence our chance of getting him back increases.
Also, he will only come back if we win the league and get UCL entry.

04 May 2026 12:40:51
I can't see him coming back, to be honest.

04 May 2026 12:43:40
Not top scorer, meant youngest scorer.

04 May 2026 13:15:27
That's the beauty of loans, though, John? You get a player for a season that wouldn't normally be in our price range and that wouldn't normally sign for us. Similar to what we're doing with loaning players to other teams.

04 May 2026 13:23:11
I agree, Storm, he won't be back, and as much as I have enjoyed watching him come on leaps and bounds this season, I am with John on this and would love it so much more if this is what I was saying about Curtis.

Our own young players should always be our priority and show other promising youngsters that there is a pathway.

04 May 2026 15:17:13
Borna, so what y r saying is he won't be back?

Alloa, I get that, one season wonders, five six minimum changes every year, then what u buy. We no longer seek to build a team to last three or four years.

When did we last loan a good player to anyone?

Name the last kid or player we loaned that became real success?

The Normal chat when clubs get our players is how unfit they all are, for me that is a serious concern.

04 May 2026 15:18:54
Bigbluejim, Curtis going on loan was a good move, mate, let the lad get good experience, I'd like seeing him involved more at Rangers next season, some want another loan but I'm thinking he'll get plenty game time at Rangers.
