I'd go further and say every time I saw Cameron play he looked good covering a lot of ground and liked a forward pass. He was never given a chance. Curtis for me is far better over all than Gassama. I can't believe we let him go on loan when we had a title to win. Not starting Moore at Ibrox on Saturday. Is all down to the manager.

Cameron's footballing ability has nothing to do with the decision to loan him out. This relates to non-footballing reasons - personally, I think he's been treated a little harshly, but hey ho.
Curtis isn't capable of doing what Gassama does for the team - so this decision was absolutely correct for both Curtis and the team.
Moore was injured, so he couldn't start. The player wanted to start and Rohl wanted to start him.
However, he's a high value loanee, and if the data says he's not fit to start, we cannot start him. If he aggravated the injury after the data (that Spurs have visibility of) said he wasn't fit, then we'd be exposing ourselves to a world of pain both financially and reputationally.
I do agree that our current system is not ideal. However, as I've posted before, I suspect this is driven by the availability of players and not through choice.

EHL, can't see what Gassama brings to team at moment - he plays in sporadic spells and could not even take a man on on Sunday - so to me at present he brings little to the team and imo he is an impact sub at best - would rather have Antman in there if fit. ?

Ehl, what system do you think Rohl would prefer? I'm personally not keen on the 2 in midfield, especially when our defensive line are so vulnerable for different factors.

Gassama was poor on Sunday, but were you saying that about him when he set up two goals last week at Falkirk? Apart from his debut, Antman has not had one good game when he has started. All the I'd rather have Antman stuff comes from two or three late sub appearances when he helped add a goal or two after the game had been won.

Fork, not my place to share the details. Only thing I'll say is that it's nothing sinister. Hopefully he takes his medicine and there is a space for him next season, as I really rate him.
BlueFloyd, I agree that Gassama can be frustrating on the ball and his decision making at times is infuriating. However, in terms of his positioning and work rate off the ball, he executes the ask to perfection - hence why he's always selected.
I get a little frustrated at times when fans call him lazy or an empty jersey as it's just not true. At the weekend he was doing what he was supposed to be doing, however Meghoma and Miovski weren't - which was a huge factor in how easy Motherwell could play out. Hence why both those players were substituted.
YoungBlue, from what I've heard he wants to rotate between 433 and 343.

Ehl, that's really interesting re Gassama.
To my untrained eye, I thought Miovski was pressing well, and Meghoma never stood out as doing anything badly in terms of pressing.

From my memory only, Cameron is due to the condition he turned up to us in the summer. Was he maybe told to stick to a certain fitness regime and then went and done his one thing instead?
That's my recollection of it, although I could be mistaken.

If he can play 45 mins, then he can start. Didn't matter what Rohl says, he is obviously protecting his decision to not start him. He ain't going to say he fecked up. ?♂️

Gassama was one of the reasons the press didn't work, although not blaming him, he had two players to deal with. A lot of blame must go with Rohl on that, as our LB was not up high enough to help him. As for going forward, I think Rommens playing at left back would be huge for Gassama in an attacking sense.

Storm Rohl said he's been more out than in over the last 14 days. So isn't fit to play 90 mins or start, whatever one I can't remember.
