Every manager and player that has ever worked with James Tavernier speaks highly of him. This season Raskin, Barron, Naderi, Rohl, all singing his praises in the post-match interviews. Warburton, Gerrard, Arfield, Walter Smith, etc.
The list of Rangers men who appreciate the captain just goes on and on.
I hope James finishes the season having captained up to another league winners trophy, and as our top scorer.

But they're all wrong according to some on here, RohlWithCheese. ?
{Ed001's Note - this is embarrassing, you are like a bunch of bald men arguing over a comb and trying to prove who needs it more. Every single person has said he has been a great servant, just some think he is a legend, some don't. The problem is that people seem to have to prove everyone else is wrong and won't accept any other point of view. I have read so many pointless, boring, tedious arguments on here over the years but this has taken the biscuit.}

Hahahaha, I'm just relieved that Tav announcing he's leaving has moved us on from Skov's confidence issues.

Skov has confidence issues, hadn't heard. ???

Anyone got more of those Dahl rumours?

That was a lovely message from Andrew, to be honest, a touch of class from the chairman. ?

Ed a great post. Ed. Feel sorry for I and your staff who bring us a great site

Spot on Ed, like u say great servant and thanks for all your endeavour. ?

I actually quite enjoy the legend debate. Just slight difference of opinions but still being respectful about a player for a change. Brings up memories of previous players and achievements to compare with.
It's good to look back on the glory times as a result. And even looking back at all his goals as a result so afraid we'll probably bore u a bit longer if u don't block us all for it. ??

Not nice Ed I have a full head of hair. ?♂️

Agreed, Stig. The guy's got class.

So the Rangers support all agree he has been a great player for Rangers? Or, as I have seen, are there some Rangers fans who talk very disparagingly about Tavernier and think he has been and is a poor player? That he has been a failure, and is the cause of systemic failure? I've seen Tavernier being abused from the stands, in car parks, and basically blamed for every failing this club has made for a decade. It's not just a group of fans, who all agree he is a fantastic player, wondering if he meets the criteria of legend or not. There's people among the Rangers support who hate Tavernier and blame him for everything.

Rangers fans love a good argument, it's the same with all Scottish folk. We love a good argument for some reason.

Hate him? Calm doon, lad. Yes, people had a go at him all through our team's performances, it was just fans high on emotions, which was wrong, but to suggest any Rangers fan hates Tav is just a wild take, maybe just a fan high on emotions again, getting carried away.

I've met plenty of Rangers fans that hate Tavernier and openly have said that over the years. I've heard them screaming "f*** off" from the top of their lungs at him from the stands. Abusing him in car parks.
Blaming him for everything.
Don't try and pretend everyone loved him now just because he's leaving. The fans treated Tavernier very poorly during his time with Rangers. He deserved better.

Again Rohl With Cheese is right in what he's saying.
He's said a lot of things that are being strongly disagreed with since he came on, but a lot of what he's said is actually true.

Because he's bang on the button about Tavernier, Stevie, clearly some don't like hearing it, mate.
