Aph with the speculation of Matondo joining your club, do you think your style of play and the Norwegian league will suit his style. Personally I've always thought theirs a player their, granted his first touch has been terrible at times but playing in the spl against low blocks never suited him.

Matondo has a talent and is absolutely blistering fast, but his control and final ball, at times, lets him down. ? He also plays with his head down a lot of the time instead of looking up before delivering his final ball into the box.
? However, I wish Matondo absolutely all the best with his new club SK Brann and hope it works out for him and the club. ?

He never really had a decent run of games at us because of injury. Someone at Man City and someone at Schalke obviously thought he had more than speed in his game. If he can get fit and stay fit, then he showed in brief flashes for us what he can do.

He had a great season in Belgium before coming to us, which had a lot of us thinking he would be a great signing.

Agree, Coopers. I am not having this, he is only fast and there isn't a player there, as he has shown it before. I know it is the disappointment of him not doing it for us, but I want him to keep fit and do well wherever he goes. Seems like a good guy who the squad all like as well.

Gassama is at this moment of time better than Matondo on what I have seen, but the boy really needs to buck up his ideas and get his head up. The way you describe Matondo, you can describe Gassama that way as well.

Gassama gets on my nerves on many occasions now, beats men easily and goes back and tries it again, talent is there though.
