Delighted with the win blew them away. 7 more to go.
Ps what about that shocking decision by var re our 4 goal that got chopped off. that's now 20 goals var have chopped of for the gers.

It hit his hand tbf mate
21 Mar 2026 23:33:06
It hit his hands, but how many phases of play do they go back to to find an error? I thought it was only handball leading to goals that got checked.
22 Mar 2026 00:26:12
Ridiculous decision, but I'll take that result every day of the
week. Very happy bear tonight.
22 Mar 2026 02:06:05
Going by the rules, it's not a ridiculous decision. It's 100% correct.
22 Mar 2026 02:22:55
Who cares if it hits his hand? The ball hit Gogic's hand from a Raskin show and VAR determined no penalty. Why? Proximity, and he knows nothing about it. Barron knew nothing about it, and was in close proximity to the person who kicked the ball off his hand.
Was his hand in an unnatural position? I don't think it was.
They seem to make it up as they go along.
22 Mar 2026 03:47:28
Looking for reasons to chop off goals. Yes, it came off his hand, but how far do u go back? Bit of common sense, or consistency, if not.
22 Mar 2026 06:34:57
If they're chopping that off, then why did we not get a pen 2nd half for hand ball?
22 Mar 2026 06:35:35
Yes, storm going by the rules, but that, along with a few other VAR rules, should be scrapped and is absolutely ridiculous. ?
22 Mar 2026 06:41:04
How many times have laws not been followed for Rangers this season?
22 Mar 2026 06:41:32
While we're on the subject of that chopped off goal, I have to say it was a very good left foot finish by Miovski. ? I don't know what he's doing or not doing in training, but Danny Rohl doesn't seem to rate Miovski for whatever reasons. ? What I will say, and have said before on here, is Miovski, for me, is easily the best/most natural finisher at Ibrox.
? I honestly think with a run in the team, with another striker beside him, he'd score a good few goals for us. ? As long as there's someone close to Miovski linking up with him, he'll finish most of his chances in the box. ?
22 Mar 2026 06:51:50
Showed he knows where the goal is, sws. He scored something like 46 goals in a couple of seasons at Aberdeen, mate. I wouldn't say Rohl doesn't rate him.

I'm not sure about the rule regarding handball. I'm sure Shankland against us handles the ball in the build-up, and it was declared ok, as he didn't score directly from the handball. It is only if the action is deemed to be deliberate that play is brought back. So Barron must have deliberately played the ball with his hand, according to the ref.
Gogic was the same as Fernandez earlier in the season. Both not given, yet should have been, as efforts were goal bound. Both yellow cards, as not deliberate. This is only my take on the rules, as they seem to change every time Collum and co have a meeting.
22 Mar 2026 08:39:45
If you listen to the VAR discussion on the Shankland goal, they specifically acknowledge that the ball hit his hand, but they decided his hand was in a natural position and it was not a deliberate handball (I'm paraphrasing, but those were the words they used).
So, SWS and Storm, I don't think you can say it is a correct decision based on the rules (unless they've changed the rules since the Shankland incident).
His hand is in a natural position, close to his body, so same situation as Shankland's.
It will be interesting to hear the VAR discussion on it later in the week when it is released.
22 Mar 2026 09:22:40
So, Collum said yesterday that the Gogic handball should have been a penalty, along with about another 1/2 dozen the refs got wrong. You know the refs, that group of 8 or so who are involved in this conspiracy. ?
So, if Gogic was a handball then so was that.
Simple, really. Oh, and they go back to the start of the attacking phase, so rightfully chopped off. The referee didn't see it, as he was ducking and turning away, not to be hit, and to stop the attack.
22 Mar 2026 09:50:44
Shankland one was a disgrace. He stuck his arm out to control the ball, and most of the stadium could see it. VAR seem to go through every one of our goals with a fine-tooth comb and stretch the rules to suit.
22 Mar 2026 10:12:55
Bear abroad; rules are the same, but some are subjective, so they look at a better way to interpret. So were the two incidents you mention really ones we want to see handball given for.
UEFA are about to have a similar summit to give guidance on when VAR should be used, as they think it isn't just clear and obvious as it is meant to be.
22 Mar 2026 11:01:17
Did Collum say that about Gogic, Angus? I never saw this Collum thing this time because of work. I thought it hit Gogic's body; if it didn't hit the hand, which would mean no pen.
22 Mar 2026 11:00:05
Rohl with cheese, maybe you don't know the rules if you think yesterday been given for handball and Gogic was isn't is the same thing
22 Mar 2026 11:41:29
A was thinking the same if it only leads to a goal mate
22 Mar 2026 14:45:50
He did not say that about Gogic, he admitted the Livi one was a mistake as Dosgo. He will probably be admitting the Gogic one in the next round of fixtures. I cannot see him defending it, although it is too random what he admits as errors and what he doubles down on.
For me, this was another highly subjective one. Gassama wins the ball back after the handball, which is not the same phase of play imo.
But, like I have said before, I expect nothing subjective to go our way, and once again that's how it went.
We took the refs out of the picture by playing well and scoring goals, which is what we need to do. We know we won't get anything from them in a title run.
