Chemeti player of the month and goal of the month. Got me thinking though will the goal be nominated fir the puskas award all will they look down their nose and want give it to a bigger team in a bigger league.

Puskas Award is one of the better ones, imo, because, like, that will give credit to cracking goals from anywhere.

I would agree with it being the Goal of the Month, but Chermiti getting Player of the Month for a good 45 minutes in February is a joke. The journos who voted for him must have been on the sauce.

Wsl, so he scored a hat-trick against Hearts; 2 against Celtic, including a worldie. Statistically, he won more duels and completed more dribbles than any other player on the pitch.
Btw, you mention above about putting the club at a disadvantage when naming subs, and then have no qualms about ridiculing our starting CF. Don't do irony, do you.

Angus, how many games has Chermiti scored in domestically? I'd read less than half. The boy has talent, but he's not prolific enough, and he can't be our go-to striker if we expect to win more games than not. Hopefully he goes on a run and scores in a few of our remaining fixtures.

Last I seen, he had 9 goals in 12 league starts which was a surprisingly low amount of starts for me when I seen that. I don't think he has scored in the cups, but also not sure how often he has played.
The thing I took from the starting stat was that all three of Dani, Bojan and Chermiti were given chances and it was big Youssef who made the most of it.
The other two did not deserve to be ahead of him, and I could not say it was lack of opportunity.

Angus, Chermiti has not scored in enough games. Let's be 100% honest here. He has done it in the odd game, that is it. Plain and simple fact.

You are right, Storm, but the only player in our squad who has is big Manny, who is a ch. Which is why I think the focus on him has been somewhat unfair.

And this was a thread about being Player of the Month, not about how he was performing over the course of a whole season. So, I answered in response to the OP. Did I even mention anything about his performance over the whole season? I just checked, and it seems I didn't.
So, does anyone want to have a rethink on what they were saying and perhaps concentrate on his award for Player of the Month. ?
It just proves, though, how many fans are willing to kick one of our own; players, I mean. I couldn't give a toss what you think of me. ?
