We can all see especially after he returned from afcon, that Djiga is looking like a good, young centre half. ? How many of us would now want us to sign him permanently from wolves, if possible? ?

Max's pay is 7m, but his wages could be an issue. Is he not on 45k a week, mate?
12 Mar 2026 17:09:55
Stevie, think he is on about £15k at both clubs according to those salary sites. Might not be true, but if so, then salary not as much of an issue.
12 Mar 2026 17:13:13
I thought he was on 45k, mate. I was sure of that. Obviously, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, mate. Fair enough.
12 Mar 2026 17:14:40
I've seen 3 sites say 15k, mate. Fair enough, and only one says 34k a week.
I've seen one saying 780k per year.
12 Mar 2026 17:19:25
Stevie, he is on around 15-17 k a week.
12 Mar 2026 17:31:45
Stevie, I saw the same one saying £34k. The 780k per year is the same as £15k per week (had to check though ?). That will be basic, probably, and there will be bonuses on top, but might not be out of our ball park.
12 Mar 2026 17:36:19
Wolves might want to keep him for next season in Championship. I would possibly offer 3-4m.
12 Mar 2026 18:17:43
BD, it is that relegation which makes me think that he might want away from them. Has he done enough for another club to want to buy, or is the door open for us to buy at a good price if he does want that move.
12 Mar 2026 18:20:31
He has been very composed in the last few games, and is forming a good partnership with Fernandes. Good defenders are hard to come by, so I would have him stay if the price is reasonable.
12 Mar 2026 18:36:21
He won't want to stay.
12 Mar 2026 18:44:12
Angus, cheers. Yeah, it seems 15 then, so we can afford it. I'd be up for it, or even another loan, but with obligation?
12 Mar 2026 18:50:21
Stevie, I agree, that sounds a decent option if the club want it. My one worry would be he isn't getting selected every game by Rohl, so does that mean he doesn't see him as the player he wants to fill the RCD role? Assuming Souttar is back up for that role after he signed a new contract.
12 Mar 2026 19:40:24
I'd take him tbh, he has good pace, is comfortable carrying it out of defence, and has come on to a game. But it'd be as backup, same as Souttar. I'd like to see them sign a clue of big, horrible, dominant CHs.
I don't even care if they can't ping a 50 yard pass, long as they can pass 10 yards to MF. Let them play it.
12 Mar 2026 19:46:07
I see a very good defender in Djiga and a guy who has slowly recovered both form and potential. I'd love to sign him.
12 Mar 2026 19:54:07
Angus, I'd say Dr has lost a bit of trust in Souttar, mate.
Dr knows his stuff, mate. He's worked with the very best, and he'll see Djiga and Manny are our best pairing, mate.
Djiga looks like he could actually be a boumsomg type, as in he's a machine, and in 1 season will be off to EPL or France for 15m maybe, so makes us about 6.3 at 10% or 5.6 at 20% sell on fee.
He's never getting game for Wolves; he's not ready for that, so they'll take the money.
12 Mar 2026 20:50:33
Possibly Angus. Let's see how he does in the final games. Potential is definitely there.
12 Mar 2026 21:24:03
It'd be a massive fee for what, on the basis of a couple of decent games? No thanks.
12 Mar 2026 22:09:55
Kaiser, will it though, as they will be relegated? He has not played for them, or done enough to interest other clubs at the sort of fee they expect. So, options are they play him in the Championship if he does want to stay, or they sell him to what they can get. All conjecture granted, but feasible?
12 Mar 2026 22:18:04
Kasier, what CH should we get in the summer?
13 Mar 2026 00:56:19
2 million, John. The other way he wants to play in the Championship might be worth a try.
13 Mar 2026 06:48:06
Honestly, no idea, Storm, but having paid £10m with a view of him being potential profit, they ain't going to want much less. We need too many new players, so wouldn't spend a large chunk on him based on this season.
