I'm as disappointed and angry as the rest of you but some of the comments on here baffle me. We dominated Celtic for near enough 2 hours but couldn't find that finishing touch, that's personnel not tactics, anyone calling for Rohl to go or asking questions of him are just idiotic.

And if your so convinced that we're not going to win the league why bother watching anymore games, if you have a season ticket then give it someone else who believes and don't bother posting on here. You just seem to spit your dummy out when you don't have it your own way and give up at the first hurdle. Might as well not see you till next season. Get a grip!

09 Mar 2026 03:21:29
We had most of the possession - granted. But we couldn't work their goalkeeper in over 2hrs?

For me, that's the tactics and style of play (or lack of).

09 Mar 2026 04:35:19
The second half last week was tactics, or lack of, and anybody who says differently is being idiotic.

Why bother watching us finish third? Because we're Rangers supporters, not glory hunters.

If we could give an award for the worst post ever, you've just won by a county mile.

09 Mar 2026 05:08:26
That's your opinion, Dado, I can think of much worse posts than mine. Just fed up of people throwing the towel in when things don't go their way. Success isn't a right; you have to earn it. We are still in a title fight, yet people seem to want to dismiss it because we're not top of the league or battering Celtic.
Sometimes, with this fanbase, it infuriates me. We're so quick to get on players' backs and ridicule them constantly, along with calling for a manager's head because he's hit a bad run of form. It's just madness to me.

People called the season over back in October, then said it was back on when we beat Hearts. Now, with 9 games to go and it all to play for, people again want to throw the towel in and give up. It baffles me endlessly. I don't think I'm alone in this thinking either, no matter what anybody says. Maybe it's because I'm not in the Glasgow bubble, I want to see this club win more than anything. My childhood was the banter years, I never saw a period like the 90's so I'm desperate for it, but I won't spit my dummy out because we're not top and cruising.

09 Mar 2026 07:55:34
The people who called the season in October look to be right. We aren't going to win anything. We have spent a fortune. We dominated them for 2 hrs, and their keeper didn't have many saves to make. ?

Rohl has to go, he is an inexperienced manager.

He slipped up in the league almost unnoticed.

But he has failed dramatically over the last month, as O'Neil has come back to steady Celtic!

Rohl could play O'Neil 100 times and not win once! He is a wee boy compared to a master.

He is not the "one"!

09 Mar 2026 08:18:04
You're on the wrong site, Lifer. Head over to the Celtic one. You'll be more welcome there with those comments.

09 Mar 2026 08:23:37
Genuine question, lifer. How much do u put on the manager and his tactics when u totally dominate for 120 mins and give away no chances? Is it not more than down to the players on the park, with shocking, wasteful passing and set pieces? Do they not bear the responsibility when they cross the white line for their performance?

09 Mar 2026 08:30:17
Rostoslo,

Rohl has been "schooled" by O'Neil in the last 2 games. Celtic reserves have just beaten us, and if you can't see that, God help Rangers.

2 up the previous weekend and can't beat them.

You must be a Celtic supporter if both results are acceptable?

09 Mar 2026 08:46:35
Kaiser

1) The visitors were poor - they offered zero.
Statistics suggested they had one shot in 120 minutes.

2) Players or tactics, or both?

I genuinely don't know - I was ok with the team, I was just disappointed.

But does it really matter? Rohl has a bench to use and is able to change formation.

My genuine question to you - would Walter Smith have failed in these two games with the same players against the same opposition?

09 Mar 2026 08:48:39
Storm, we've got 9 games left and it's all to play for. You're entitled to take that view, I just don't see the point in having that mentality at this point. If it's 3 games left and 6 points behind, yeah it's probably a certainty we won't win anything. But with 9 games left it's still very much a possibility.

09 Mar 2026 08:53:18
Kaisser,

PS, I must say, in my opinion, the side are missing key pillars, particularly when you consider that both "captains" Souttar & Tavernier, and so-called pillars, were dropped, and Raskin is not pulling his weight.

No doubt Walter may have surprised us and played Souttar at no.9 and Tavernier on the right wing!

09 Mar 2026 09:17:27
Unfortunately, Walter also lost games against poor Celtic teams too, Lifer. But, if we're to hold every manager up against him, then we've never got a chance, because we doubt we'll see his like again. U were OK with the team, but want the manager sacked? That seems strange. Not saying he couldn't do any better at times, but players have to do more themselves.

When you're all over them, like we were, he must have thought we'd take chances, so maybe that's why he didn't change. Everyone called for Dio, but he had to take him off early. Everyone's been calling for Bajrami, and he didn't make a difference. He dropped Tav, like everyone said, but delivery from everyone else was dire. It's more on the players than the manager, imo.

09 Mar 2026 09:23:26
Dio injured his shoulder and had a booking tbf.

09 Mar 2026 08:38:45
Right lifer, What a comment. 'Schooled', my hole.

MON got lucky that our finishing didn't make the grade yesterday and Celtic got the better of us in one half of those 2 games.

So you've seen enough of Rohl to get rid? Brilliant, who are you bringing in?

09 Mar 2026 08:46:02
Lifer, seriously mate, you've got your head up your backside. Worst start in 50 years under Martin, Rohl drags us into a title race, has had only 1 transfer window, 3 out of 4 he brought in have been decent.

And you want him sacked because of 2 games. Do me a favour. If it were up to you we'd be changing managers every 6 months and winning nothing. I suppose you want the owners gone as well then aye?

09 Mar 2026 10:07:42
Young Blue, I'm totally with you on this. I'm an "Old Blue" who endured Celtic winning their first 9IAR, and had to wait a long time to see us take the title.
I loved the Walter years, but supporters need to take the good with the bad, and stick with the team regardless.

Constant change has not brought us any lasting success. Give DR a chance, at least one full season, then see where we are. Starting again from scratch is madness. ?

09 Mar 2026 10:35:10
Rohl got us back in a "title race" purely because Celtic have been rotten all season and went through more managers than us for a chance.

Hearts, to their credit, have played well.

We got all excited, pumping Queens Park and Killie, but then bottle it against the rest.

The players are the main issue, but Danny is there to get them over the line, which he is failing to do.

A lot of our fans have seen this same movie too many times, and therefore don't want to get their hopes up again and again.

It's better for themselves to say the league is over; that way, when we do lose the league, they can say "told you so" and they don't feel as heartbroken as the rest of the fans who thought we could win the league.

Worst Celtic team in decades, and we can't get over the hump. The whole club is at fault (including the fans).

09 Mar 2026 11:35:35
Young Blue, it's because we have 2 wins in 7 games to win the league. I think we need to win all remaining 9 games, and that squad won't do that. That is why I think like that, and who do you think you are to tell any fan not to bother watching games?

09 Mar 2026 13:38:00
Great post, Kaiser, I agree, mate. I'm not giving up because I think there's many a twist and turn to come, but I can also understand the realistic frustration from some guys too. Over the course of the last 5 or 6 years, I'm not sure I remember us putting 2 halves of football together domestically, so imo, it's not Rohl to blame.

I see improvement, but it won't happen in one window. The Olsen thing is a mystery, good player, but he doesn't look happy at all. I don't always agree with Storm, but he's nailed Souttar. Although it's worth saying that Djiga was also slated on here but strolled it yesterday.

09 Mar 2026 13:42:16
Lifer, if Sir Walter was still with us, I would bring him in to replace Rohl in a heartbeat. But, to be fair, he would have stepped in after Martin was sacked anyway. Unfortunately, the legend is no longer with us, and there is nobody of that stature waiting to take over.

Our only successful manager since Walter, Steven Gerrard, didn't want the job because of the lack of talent in this squad, so Rohl deserves the chance to change it during the summer, having had the guts to take it on when others were crapping out.
