Guys, come on, we're not winning 3 away fixtures on our current form. Even if Motherwell go down to 9, they'll probably get a draw.
Each of these fixtures are 6 pointers in the fight for third. We can't afford to lose them.

I agree with BigDado. We had it in our hands, and 3 draws in 5 games have handed the ascendancy to both Hearts and Celtic. We can't be doing that in the run-in.
3 points at Ibrox against Celtic were essential.
Now, we have to go and win at Tynecastle and Celtic Park, while matching them for points in every other game, and also hope someone turns Hearts over to do us a favour.
It didn't have to be like this. Livingston and Celtic draws were absolutely galling.

The cup tie is vital now, without counting chickens, the road to the Scottish Cup would be straightforward with the other 4 top teams all out. Winning the cup gets us entry into Europe, which might be needed if things don't improve in the league.

Not ideal results lately, but I agree with you, Baz. We are still in with a chance. There is a lot of football still to play. I believe all teams in with a shout will drop points. I'm just hoping that's it for us now, and we have gone through our end-of-season sticky patch.

I get that, Baz, but that's just a wee comfort blanket compared to Martin's time at the club. The fact is, we got ourselves back and are now blowing it at the wrong time. Like, we always do.
We have stopped doing what we were doing to win games, and that's clean sheets. The mistakes are creeping back in, and we're conceding cheap goals. We are conceding too many. And we won't win 9 games.

I think we are in trouble for the cup game. They won't play as badly as they did in the first half, and, with Souttar & Fernandez pissing about at the back, they have no awareness. In some cases they are just hitting passes without being aware if anyone is there.

Baz, I like the league being competitive, but we will need to win every game now to win the league, and that team hasn't got it in them. Four of the last 6 have been draws.
Paul, that's nonsense, as Motherwell are in great form right now.
Hearts are getting wins again.
It would take an almighty upturn in fortunes for us to win the league.

We have as much chance of finishing fourth rather than first if we can't see out games. All the teams will drop points, but we have to be totally on it for 90 mins to get the game won and see it out, and I cannot see that happening.
We have too many mistakes in us. The most annoying thing is, I think, we have the capabilities to win these games.

Storm, I see where you're coming from, and based on these draws, it's hard to argue with you, pal. I guess I'm just an eternal optimist, so I envision it being right down to the wire. If I was basing supporting Rangers on form and intelligence, let's face it, I'd be very miserable for the last 15 years, give or take a Euro final or a Covid league.
Instead, I'm going to remain hopeful. Whether that's misguided or not, I'm a lot happier that way.
Dado, I can't disagree with a lot of what you say either, buddy, but what I've written above applies there too. I see a lot of positives about Rohl's team, and if he can build a defence capable of protecting the zero, I predict good things.

The league shouldn't be competitive when you compare budgets. The fact that Motherwell and Hearts are up there just proves that we have employed duds in background roles that have financially mismanaged us in the transfer market again. You have to wonder why Motherwell and Hearts can bring in new players and coaches, implement new tactics and hit the ground running.
Yet, when we do it, we have fans crying out for patience, allowing players time to settle, and waiting until October before it clicks.

Storm, it seems to me you are taking a degree of pleasure in mentioning the previous talk on here of us going straight into the Champions.
To me, it smacks of you saying, "I told you so," as you obviously didn't believe it was likely.
I would take no pleasure in being "proved right" if it was to the detriment of Rangers.
