Looks like I got it wrong.
Absolutely brilliant result and performance against a team that are absolutely flying in the league and will take points off everyone else.
Great to see Gassama go past defenders with ease.
And a defence that didn't give much awasy, ably lead by the outstanding Tav and Sputter ( who should have been given a 5 year deal and an increase of 1000% in his weekly wage ).
Great to see Chermiti continue his red hot streak.
Olsen is a steal at £8 million in the summer.
And Miovski should easily beat his best tally for Aberdeen by the season end.
Celtic have absolutely no chance and it's now between us and Motherwell for the title.
Now, if you'll excuse me, myself, Santa and the Tooth Fairy are awash to Narnia rob the gold from the end of a rainbow.

You okay, mate?

This is what a title fight is. We are nowhere near the finished article. If you're expecting that, you will always be disappointed.
We should have won it, we played well enough and created enough, while they scored with their only chances. Sometimes you get these games where everything is a fingertip save or a last-ditch block.
Celtic getting beat means it's a good day for me. Obviously, I prefer to get 3 points, but our position is still good; nothing is won nor lost, and we go into 2 massive games knowing we can win them both and be in a cracking position in the league and cup.

Good stuff, TommyGun. I think we all needed that. Today wasn't the end of the world or the league for that matter.

Tommy, too many fans don't give Hearts the respect they've earned, so it wasn't a good day. We've fallen a further 2 points behind Hearts, and every game becomes must-win. Next Sunday, for instance, we've no room for error, and getting 3 points out of 9 in the last 3 away games simply must be better.

Spot on, One Walter.

If Hearts hold it together, then fair enough to them; however, both them and Celtic are scraping results, and there are still too many games left in the run-in to keep that going.
I am more worried about Motherwell. They are the form team in the country, and are playing some cracking football.
They will finish in the top 3 for me.
However, I am still confident, as I think we are playing well and have the best squad, so I believe we are in a good place.

Correct, Ows. It's not a good day because Hearts won this weekend and we didn't, and they are top, not Celtic. Going by some fans, if Hearts win the league and we finish above Celtic, they will probably be happy with that because of their mentality.

It's Hearts to lose.
The rest need them to start dropping points, but they tend to react well after a setback.
It was said at the turn of the year that Hearts would fall away, but they haven't, and we and they are not consistent.

Hearts last won the league in 1960. No club outside the Old Firm has won it in nearly 50 years. If they win it, then good luck to them. It would be a once in a lifetime achievement, and as a football fan I can acknowledge that. But it's hardly a record worth respecting.
Let's be honest, neither we nor Celtic really deserve anything this season. 5 managers and numerous directors down the line is not a winning formula, and in any other league we would be, correctly, out of any reckoning.
Danny Rohl has come in and got us winning, but he has done that by being hard to beat, turning us into a solid team.
He is trying to play more expansive football now, but we are clearly a work in progress.
I just look at where we are in comparison to Hearts and Celtic and feel good. We have a better squad, Celtic are buying players out the back of Mondeo's, and are playing better than both, so I am bullish about our chances. That does not mean we win every game, but I think we will win enough to get over the line.

To be fair and honest here without sounding as if i'm not giving Hearts credit here both Rangers and Celtic have had terrible periods this season regarding Rangers at the beginning under russell martin where Hearts took advantage and built a big lead on us which has now been reigned in a good bit and of course them with the turmoil that nancy boy created, so Hearts have had that going for them as they've had no turmoil like both the Old Firm have and it's now or never for them and i still think Rangers will win the league ???
