If and I say if we don't get a result tomorrow, please remember our very poor start under Martin and the near impossible task Rohl has had. He's been backed and I fully expect not to lose tomorrow.
Please stop the I wonder where Rohl will go next questions just now.

He's only just begun his adventure. Players may have signed for him. He's been backed with cash so he's not going anywhere in the short term. Good luck tomorrow.let's make our own luck.

14 Feb 2026 11:16:56
I'm backing Rohl. We were never going to win every game, and we are right now still in with a chance, albeit with the horrendous start to the season. We are running out of wiggle room, though. Lose tomorrow, and I think our chance just about slips away.

14 Feb 2026 11:48:34
I find this type of behaviour very strange too.

Danny Rohl has done absolutely nothing in the game as a head coach/manager. His longest winning streak for S Wednesday was 5 games. So far with us, he's been pumped out of Europe, got beat in the LC semi final to our biggest rivals, and has us 5 points behind Hearts, having dropped 4 points in the last 2 away league games. He couldn't even hold onto a 0-1 lead against 10 men.

Yip, elite manager material.

So, what exactly has he done in the game that has some on here slobbering all over him, and spouting some outlandish single fish, that he's destined to land a top job as head coach/manager in Germany? I'll tell you. Nada!

Some on here really need to calm down. Let's wait to see what he does this season before blowing your loads.

14 Feb 2026 11:55:33
You need to remember that them lot had Nancy for a short period as well then. ?

14 Feb 2026 12:26:29
Let's get real. If we lose or even draw tomorrow, it's the beginning of the end for Rohl. They gambled on an inexperienced manager, and that was after the Martin debacle, and it's starting to show. We need experienced campaigners on and off the pitch, not experiments.

14 Feb 2026 13:07:29
Being % points back from Hearts and basically level with the Tims in mid February is not a lost cause. Yes, Sunshine, your stats are bang on, and if he fails, then he will have one more season to get it right. imo, whoever wins the cup wins the double.

14 Feb 2026 13:12:16
Aye, Storm, and some need to remember we had Russell Martin for a wee while.

14 Feb 2026 13:29:46
We really need to stop this meltdown every time we don't win. This mentality is ruining our club. Same as that lot over the city! Fans have to accept we won't win every game.

14 Feb 2026 13:34:38
Good seeing you posting, ss. You tell it like it is, mate. I do like Danny, but some go way over the top far too soon.

14 Feb 2026 13:36:46
U say 5 behind Hearts is a bad thing.

We were 14th, behaving m*** when he came in.

14 Feb 2026 13:52:51
I'm not claiming he is going to be an elite manager, but you have to take into account where we were and what he inherited when he took over when looking at the results. We were a long way behind Hearts and Celtic, so getting to within 5 points shows that he actually has a better record than both since he took over. Even in the last 6 games, where those two draws occurred, he has a better record than both. The LC semi final was lost due to us going down to 10 men, and even then we fought back to take it to extra time before the legs gave out, not his fault.

The explanation for the European results is dead simple: the players aren't good enough at that level, and to be fair he doesn't have the experience of the likes of Clement. I'm not saying he's not made mistakes, but I'm not sure anybody could have done any better with Martin's Misfits.

14 Feb 2026 14:21:03
Banxger, I know we are still right in this title fight, but is it a meltdown every time we lose a game, or is it history repeating, and 20 years' worth of hurt just boiling over for some? Some fans just feel they're watching the same movie we've been watching for over 20 years.

Now I'm not one of them, but I understand why some would feel that way, so should any Rangers fan, tbh.

14 Feb 2026 14:25:32
Let's be honest. The over-the-top comments aren't just about Danny; it was the same for Clement as soon as you lose a couple.
5 points behind Hearts is considerably closer than we were a few months back, and he's got us in a much better place, with at least a chance of the title.

14 Feb 2026 14:25:39
14th in a 12 team league Stevie, steady mate. ??

14 Feb 2026 15:17:40
I agree it's too early to tell how Danny Rohl will progress.

But I am definitely giving him credit for the start he has made. He took a bunch of individuals, devoid of confidence, and turned them into the form team in the country.

Not one fan on here or anywhere else I have seen thought that was possible. I certainly did not.

We are now going into the next challenge for him, which is to dominate teams and score more goals. Only time will tell if he can do it.

14 Feb 2026 16:12:05
It's way too soon to be judging Rohl. He's trending in the right direction after taking over an absolute bin fire. Is he a league title-winning manager? With better recruitment in the summer, maybe. I can't see us winning the league this season. I think the last 4 points dropped will kill us. In saying that, it's been a crazy year and you never know.

14 Feb 2026 16:23:53
Foolmonty, I take it you didn't read the original post, as I was replying to that. ?‍♂️ Maybe read it, not to make yourself look silly, pal.

14 Feb 2026 16:33:41
Some on here could miss the point if they were staring directly at the pointy end of a needle.

Nobody is saying we're not in a better position under DR than we were under RM!
Nobody is saying 5 points behind Hearts is too much to claw back.
And, most of all, nobody is saying that 2nd place is worse than 14th place. What was that all about?!. ?

It's the way the usual ones on here go way OTT.
Yes, DR has done well, but the black and white of it is, he's still not achieved anything.

It was Spurs the other night. Now it's RB Leipzig. What next?

It's the same with the players! Our new LB is the second coming of A Numan! The big striker is the new German striking sensation! Chermiti scored 2 goals against the worst team in 40 years, and he's going to make us tens of millions in profit. The list is long.

We have been starved of success for so long that, as soon as we show any promise, some are on here proclaiming the second coming of R Madrid. Just settle down!

14 Feb 2026 17:07:33
Should've read 14 points behind, lads. Sorry.

14 Feb 2026 17:18:24
Wishers, yea, I agree with your post. Danny Rohl should be given the same time as Steven Gerrard got. IMO, I think he will turn out to be a good enough manager, and has a lot of respect in the game.

14 Feb 2026 18:32:09
Your reaction is just the same as those you're criticising, Sunshine. Over the top.

Danny Rohl has done better than "well". We were the worst team we've seen in 40 years when he came in. How he turned that group into a solid team is still beyond me.

No-one, including you, would have predicted that.

He has done an outstanding job so far. That gives him credit in the bank for me. I also don't think it's a big deal getting excited by new signings, it does not warrant your OTT reaction either.

14 Feb 2026 19:11:57
Ah, so stating facts is Ott?!. ???

It looks like the truth has had its usual triggering effect on here.

14 Feb 2026 20:11:19
Just because people give this honest assessment of Rohl's possible mistakes over certain games doesn't mean they are not backing the manager.

Don't know where this false narrative is coming from that fans are turning on the manager.

Don't think I've seen anyone here saying Rohl was not good enough or that he shouldn't be manager, just that he possibly got it wrong.

Surprise, surprise, he's human after all. ?

14 Feb 2026 21:25:08
Beginning of the end. ?? Is that supposed to be satire?

I don't disagree with the principle of Sunshine's posts; the delivery could be better, but I suppose we have all been saying that about Tavernier for a while.

The fact is, Danny Rohl has not won any trophies yet, but he has to be credited with placing us on a trajectory that at least brings us into the conversation.

Forever, I think you need to look harder, because Locher has not been the only one questioning whether Danny Rohl is the correct person for the job.

The OTT reaction to another match without defeat is frankly embarrassing.

15 Feb 2026 07:52:05
Some were saying that Clement was useless; he clearly isn't. The same folk are now doubting Rohl. He has broader shoulders than Clement, supporters in Germany are the same and will drop you in a few weeks. But he is a very, very good manager.

Personally, I would be content with the Scottish Cup and the Europa League this season, and with Hearts to win. Next season, though, he will be judged differently. I expect Rangers under Rohl to steamroller Celtic next season.
